McRae is concentrating to british championship. And he will try also something in WRC2.

He will do Rally Islas Canarias. Unfortunately, Sierra Morena and Canarias is with only one week difference, so almost impossible to do both events (especially with same car)... So lot of drivers were forced to decide which event they will do.

A shame the wins of Jon Armstrong last season hasnt added more Fiesta's. Even the N.Irish guys are in Citroen, Toyota and Skoda cars.

Nice to hear Suninen enjoyed the level of competition/fighting here.

A good return to action by Suninen and on tarmac too. He was the best of the ERC contenders who are doing the full Championship.

Mabellini was decent too in his new Lancia and Creighton was also good at times in his first ERC foray.

Lets see how the regulars do next on the gravel of Rally Scandinavia.

This is brand new thing this year brought by promoter. I know it is copy from other sports, for example downhill skiing. But still I think there are other ways to improve...

It was really great rally with very strong entry and plenty of fights on almost every position. And it is very sad there is not so many posts here :(

Had to cancel my plans to watch the rally "live" as had to have some un-planned treatment for pre-cancerous cells on my face so the Spanish sunshine was deemed un-acceptable by my GP! Watched and followed the event online and its certainly on my list for next year when can hopefully plan a longer break in the area to take in the rally.

Really pleased to see "Cohete" take the win as he's a fast and spectacular driver and a character as well. As Pluto has said plenty of fights which bodes well for the rest of the year and will try and contribute more to future ERC threads as this championship it looks to be way more open than it has been in a long time.

I`d almost say Suninen moved to top contender for the title, surprisingly strong here on Tarmac, and next event he`ll for sure be strong in so looking good for him

Yes, Suninen was the biggest surprise for me as well. If he can finish 4th in a "specialist" tarmac rally, what can he do in a gravel event?
We will find out in Sweden...
