No McRae again. Ken Block also missing, although he did say he was only doing 4 of the 6 rounds.
Emma will be in her new car. Hopefully the crash at Whangarei hasn't knocked her confidence.

New addition to the championship...Sloan Cox. Can't say I have heard of him.

McRae won't be back I don't think (not in the short term anyway). Not a big surprise - perhaps the car wasn't quite what he had been promised, and it has since been sold anyway. Wouldn't be surprised to see him back one day tho, perhaps in a different brand of car too....
Block was never going to do this or Hawkes Bay as they clash with his Amercian championship, but he will be back for Rally NZ and Nelson.
Sloan Cox is Taryn Cox's brother, Taryn has been rallying an Evo 3 in the few years. It is the ex Dean Sumner Evo 8.

Just saw a few pics in Auto Trader of Rally Waiarapa. Looks as if Mason has dropped Silverstone tyres. His car had Dunlop stickers on it. He started the season on Silverstones. Maybe the 4 flat tyres he got in Rally Whangarei was the catalyst for the swap.
