Bump.
My and my dad are thinking of going this year but probably only Friday or Saturday Have anyone seen an approximate itinerary or if one can buy single day tickets?
The information at the official website is pretty sparse/mediocre with about 4 weeks to go.

Take a look at - https://ercroyalrally.com/noticeboard/ -> Supplementary Regulation -> page 19-21, itinerary is described there. Stage names by location too. Then look at the previous years maps and you will understand everything quite well.

Only do first 9 stages.
No, that is not correct. SM-round will do 9 stages in total (1 stage Thursday, 4 stages Friday and 4 stages Saturday (2nd loop both Friday and Saturday)).
This is a full SM-round since they normally only do 9-10 stages (previous rounds this season was 10 stages). SM will bring about 100 entries in addition to the ERC entries.

But still they will be in different classification as ERC field will do all stages. So it is similar to most of the other ERC races, where national field starts behind international field. But usually they do all stages, same like international field.

i wonder whats the actual erc's audience... the youtube highlights theres 3k to 9k, most social media posts barely get "500" interaction. on some 'illegal russian sites'' where people upload broadcast you barely get 20 viewers. here its mostly the same 10 people? i find erc to be the coolest series out there (for a while). but audience is just really small. Im also one of the few who rather watching the "'european"" motocross chapmionship instead of the ""world"" motocross championship hehe. i guess i like when its more about the sport than the business, or at least 50/50 (cuz basically all ""world championships" turned into business over sport)

I think you´re not representative for statements like that. All series have their share of audience. Telling you rather watch motocross than WRC, make me say that.

i fixed my last post, sorry. what i meant was that i rather watch the 'european mx' over the world motocross' series. same way im more into erc than wrc because 'it feels more sport than business'. got it?
then the doubt regarding audience size was also not on a bad intention. on the contrary. love erc and wish there were even more fans. even KNOWING that one of the parameters i mentioned (social media interactions) are kinda useless because rally fans tend to be a little bit older, less interested in 'interacting in social media'.

This forum isn’t so busy any more even in the WRC section..
The viewing figures for the live shakedown stage aren’t so bad. i barely watch ERC official Youtube highlights (i’d rather watch fan videos)
Perhaps the promoter should treat us to a live stage or two streamed on Youtube during the rally too? I doubt it would lose them any Rally TV subscribers and it might help build their audience.

Sadly the Rights are already with the channels that have bought the rally highlights package. They usually show some live stages too.
Luckily this rally has several live stages on the Swedish national broadcaster (SVT) so can be accessed. The pay channel (TV4) has the full WRC+ stream.

well, having four different brands and Henning using one brand with, I suppose, older tyre, thing are ridicoulus giving him penalty.
This is brand new rule introduced before last season. Each tyre manufacturer "nominate" type of tyres which can be used during the season. Before each race they also need to send list of nominated barcodes (I expect team of Solberg didnt do it, so we will see what will happen later). Pirelli has nominated only K4A, K6A and K8B. More info here - https://www.fia.com/sites/default/files/documents/2025_erc_registered_tyre_suppliers.pdf
Personally I dont like this rule, for me it is only another stupid bureaucracy. But it was introduced after pushing by Michelin and Pirelli, because on season before MRF brought completely different tyres and compounds for their drivers best suitable for that event...

Qualifying Stage winner Philip Allen was fifth overall after four stages only to go off the road on a slippery Tarmac section 8.2 kilometres into SS5.
“The Tarmac’s definitely slippier than I thought it was going to be,” Allen said. “When I turned it in it started to drift and I obviously floored it and didn’t get it back, simple mistake. I thought I was driving within myself all morning, safe, clean, no real moments but, obviously, these things are happening. It just went backwards off the road, there isn’t actually much damage, I think we should get going tomorrow. It’s more just the back panel and the boot lid that’s got damaged, the rest is 100 per cent.”

And Armstrong, fast but allways puncutres or offroad...
He admits that it was his own mistake:
“We just went a bit too early in a corner over a crest and hit a bit of rock on the inside that was sticking out and I didn’t spot it on the recce,” Armstrong explained. “These stages you start going more early everywhere because everyone is doing it and just end up seeing lines that weren’t there when you started so we got a puncture and stopped to change it. It’s frustrating because we had the stage win on the one before that.”

Really enjoying this rally so far, great battle at the front, one mistake could cost a win or podium. I know not everybody likes it but great to see the locals compete with and beat the ERC regulars, especially a young local like Riersen. Impressed by Johannsson's pace today too, beating Ostberg and Marczyk on all stages so far.
Driver interviews are far more interesting and entertaining than WRC as well, they seem more open and maybe relxaed than the WRC. (Not meant as a criticism of the WRC drivers)

What a shame for Jon Armstrong again. He and the old Fiesta still showing they have great pace at times but he just cant have a clean rally. Hopefully soon he'll get through one soon and we'll see where he can really finish.

Really good spectacle, both regulars and local drivers, different brands of cars and tires, its everything wrc missing!
Its like the good old gr.A days!
And Brynhildsen calling out to kankkunen is legendary

Oh, dear. Just when we all wanted to hear Brynhildsen interview, they cut for next stage...!!! Are they robots, or what???
And it was not like they was going straigt to next stage. No 10 minutes brake, showing still picture.. And when coerage started, recap of the whole rally and introduction of coming stage from the drivers. They do this often also on wrc events. Fuckin annoying

idk bout you guys but Korhonen IS wrc material... but I HOPE wrc goes R5s for top class before we waste another talent in "3 events in a rally1 car with just one testing, finishing behind some rally2 entries for lack of experience because theres only 7 rally1 cars and its impossible to get good on them to compete against ott/tierry/seb/kalle/elfyn who have YEARS of experience"

Verstappen says he enjoyed the rally, but it is difficult to change the driving style after 45 years of racing :)

After this one Korhonen leads the ERC. Will he now do the full Championship and is he as fast on tarmac?

Judging from his profile at https://www.ewrc-results.com/profile/92097-roope-korhonen/ he avoids tarmac rallies at all costs. You can hardly see any.

Really good results from Isak Reiersen and Mille Johansson, both drivers really pushed championship top drivers even if they didn't manage to keep the pressure on all the way into the finish of the last stage.
As mentioned by P-G Andersson during yesterday's broadcast on SVT play Isak does really good on the morning stages, but looses time in the afternoon stages. Any theories as to why?
Not experienced enough to notice how conditions are changing alter in the day?
Still very impressive from both 18 year old Mille and 21 year old Isak, they are definitely worth keeping on eye on, just hope that they can't find enough sponsors and support to be able to fight in the top consistently and possibly also WRC in the future.

This is usual problem of northern drivers - we can say Korhonen, Reiersen, from older for example Larsen or Heikkila. They are fast on gravel, but they are afraid to start on tarmac...

On his interview Allen said he wants to push to be fastest and risk going off. He's not got time to just drive around building up experience.

It's not easy for them to go the experience of tarmac rallies since (at least in Sweden) every rally is either on snow/ice or gravel which is understandable when Sweden is full of awesome forest gravel roads.;)

I know. But it is same for czech drivers as we have only tarmac events and nothing on gravel or snow/ice. But if you want to be a top driver on international level in full championship, you must be good on all surfaces. But lot of drivers prefers to be heroes on their lovely surface and dont want to challenge other surfaces...

:D Does he mean that in an age multiplied by budget kind of way or a 'I just don't give a shit' kind of way.

I think the former, although it might bit a bit of the latter too... ;)
He may be the next in the line of McRae, Lukyanuk etc ie. 'win it or bin it'.

The video is too long for me, but the shots in the first 2 minutes are beautiful! You should be hired by the official ERC video crew :)

If he does well in Poland, maybe they will get the budget to do at least next tarmac round. Probably not great on tarmac yet, but needs to learn.

I am not sure if the budget is the biggest problem. Usually it is fear of the tarmac...
