WRC Pickems 2022

Thread for this year's pickems. I'll handle the pickems for one more year, together weith Rallyper - its a bit late to start looking for an alternative solution. Unless someone wants to step up and tag me out.

Rules setup the same way as previous years, summed up below. If you have suggestions for improvement, post and discuss them here quickly - I want to have the rules locked for the season when first cars take off in Monte.

Scoring:
Points are awarded according to the table below.

In case of equal score, the win is given to the better prediction of 1st place. If that is equal then better prediction of 2nd place gets the win etc.
In overall standings the lowest scoring round of each player will be dropped, starting from second round.


Predictions
Predictions will be made either in a designated forum thread (automated system on the forum, should we get it working later in the season.
Predictions have to be made using the format and rules described in the prediction thread.
Each driver can only be selected once - prediction 1 Tanak 2 Tanak 3 Tanak will not give you points for all the predicted positions.

Monte Carlo
A lot of participants on this round - in fact I dont recall having 90 contestants on one round.
A tricky one to get accurately. Integrale takes the first win and therefor also the overall lead. Flat_right in second and Grey hair takes the last podium position, just slighty ahead of hsmed

Oh wow! Believing in the master paid off. No worries, I'll get into my usual position in the middle of the pack from Sweden onwards. Thanks for the Excel wizardry guys.

Even more difficult round to predict than last time. It will probably remain the lowest scoring round this season for many but not for maailmameister! He takes the victory with 48 points. He is followed by doubled1978 and prill99.

Here is Kenya, Delivered by me and Rallyper. A strange milestone this time - first time noone misspelled any of the drivers names! Even Rovenpera and Nueville were missing from predictions! Cheers! :beer:

Generally a lowscoring round, looking at the average results. This didn't stop grey hair however, who takes the win with a respectable 68 points! TWRC follows him 14 points behind, just ahead of spark13

Rally Estonia turned out to be quite an easy race to predict - the average score is highest of the season. This means that for finishing on the top you needed to be very accurate with your prediction. Polomayu did just that and takes the win with 75 points. Fisulino with just one point behind takes the second, spyros in third

Amongst other things, Rovanperä and Neuville sure messed with pickems results of the simple folk! Second lowest scoring round this season. Faith in Tänak on tarmac paid off for some people, foremost EstWRC who scores a second win in a row! Negaiss follows him in 2nd with dnb close behind.
