Back to Europe but we're still on gravel.

The rally will be run with the following format:
Game Rally: Greece(mirrored)
Shakedown Stage: SS7
Day 1: Expert Level
Day 2: Intermediate Level

Rally starts on Saturday and deadline for submissions is on Wednesday 23th 11:59 AM

Steady drive for this one, and no silliness as last year where we lost a place to jso1985 due to a major off (we were imitating Solberg :p )

All in all an ok Rally, although sliding off stage twice and taking a bad knock to the steering didn't help, but hey, I love the greek stages!

i've just got my hand on this game cmr2, because of all the ruckes here about it.

can someone explain me how this work, i'd sure like to participate. right now it's a bit hard getting use to the driving since it has a tendency to slide all the time and the pacenotes comes so late, i don't use arrows.

Hi tmx, this is an offline championship where you run the rally and then send me your times(PM or e-mail) then I post the results and done.

Day 1:
I think someone has been stuffing around with my car settings of late... We had some horrendous slides and were very slow today. At least we didn't worry the mechanics with any damage, hahahaha. Spun twice into the trees, bending the suspension pretty bad.
Day 2:
hey we have speed! Mucho faster today. Fast on almost all stages with a couple of mishaps to make up for yesterday. Stage 6 we hit a tree hard on my side bending the shell bad and had some interesting driving angles! On the SS, we hit the wall on the last corner, again bending something important(didn't want to look).
Damn hard rally to get right. Went hard as we dared and hopefully got some points.

We are using a manual gearbox on this rally-a first for us in the CMR2 WRC :D
(We will NOT be using a manual tranny on tarmac events)

Of course, our times have suffered a bit. Day 2 perhaps an additional 30 seconds total over what we could acheive with an auto box, but as we're having fun this year, the time to do this is now. Some sectors showed a minor improvement.

Will run day 1 tonight and be a bit more careful with the throttle.

I'm very happy with this win, but everybody knows, it was an enormous luck, not a very good performance :) But win is win, and it's good for the manufacturing points of Seat.
