It's wrangler/bass pro.I haven't seen the paint scheme yet. The car # will be 20 and the drivers are Andy Wallace,Tony Stewart and Dale Jr. We might have a fourth driver. If we do it will be a road course specialist.

Forgive me if I sound doubtful, but I can't find anywhere that says Dale Jr. is going to drive.

I hope it is fact, because I love watching the race.

Remeber 2004 when they were about some 20 minutes from winning the Rolex 24, when a mechanical failure, prevented them from the overall win ! it was a great Grand Am race that year.

about "Sports Car Racing" why Nascar drivers do for sometimes, like Tony Stewart an Dale Jr. only in the Rolex Series and there is no one that competes in a single ALMS event, too strange ??!!

Remember Dale Jr attempted an ALMS race, but the fire broke out in the practice crash race morning.

When ALMS was racing in Portland on the NASCAR off-week, Greg Biffle thought about racing in it but was prevented by Roush officials. Ford didn't want their driver in the Aston Martin (their own brand!) for the weekend, even though it would have been a perfect match for the firm!

that why ALMS is better than Grand Am :D
about the DPs why are they so ugly and terribly slow ?

You have to keep in mind sponsor contracts as well.

Dale Jr., for example, has been limited in his non-nextel cup driving because Budweiser only allows so many per year.

Their primary interest is keeping the image of Dale Jr. associated with the #8 Bud car, not with anything else.

we tried to get Jr to drive in the July race at Daytona but bud said no thanks.

The Rolex 24 is Grand Am`s yearly day in the sun. You`d be hard pressed to find household names the rest of the year. That` s why that race getting so popular.
The ALMS has the tech, faster mashines.... Sebring and LeMans.
Either way, cars or stars. I watch for different reasons.
The Rolex24 ......................and the ALMS the rest of the year.http://forums.motorsport.com/forums/images/icons/icon10.gif

In Denver, NC, ...someone must be a Crawford employee ;)

The infield and garage have been crowded as heck the last few years, if JR. is driving, along with Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, etc., it will be even worse.

The DP's are the premier class. It's more prestige to win overall than class. That's why they want to race in the DP's. Did anyome hear the rumor about Mark Martin driving the 23 DP?

eh, he still has Danica Patrick as an entrant, and we all know that didn't happen, so there is still no "official" word on Dale Jr. :)

...although, I did notice wikipedia has him in the race already:

It's Jan 12th, and still no press conference, or anouncement of a second car from Crawford...actually, word from the Crawford camp is they may only run the 24 hours race, due to lack of sponsorship money.
