He has absolutely no need to take any risks. His closest championship rival is Evans, who's behind him. Then there is Neuville, who also is behind but closer. The three drivers ahead of him have no shot in the championship and Ogier can bide his time and see what happens, knowing that unless he retires in Estonia all is better than well.

Bad news from SS3... we went over a jump and landed too hard on the front. There was a leak on the radiator and we tried to fix it but couldn’t, so we decided to retire and bring the car back to service to try and fix it so we can restart tomorrow.


And we are back to the old jungleword; To finish 1st, 1st you have to finish!

Neuville had quite a off and got hit to rear-right. IMO he was lucky to get away without any strong damage, I don't know what was the relation with puncture - was puncture caused by off or off caused by puncture or those were not related at all.

I have many friends who are not going this year and staying with group of friends behind TV.

My brother has VIP but they are stuck in traffic jam and couldn't get to their spot on time. So they missed their first spectating point. What a disaster of a rally!

But clearly his mistake which is a little embarrassing on a home rally. Heard many fans being very mad at him while we did our break at Otepaa, especially the ones who have come from Saaremaa.

What i want to say is that to dont jump at conclusions about tyres,or about the slow skoda at fast rallies so easily.
Its case is unique,and at backround there are plenty of things we dont know.

Its his driving not the tyres.But ok Mads always searching for excuses when loosing.

I'm not sure there's a lot he can do; it might be an unpopular view, but the WRC, currently is a hard sell..... To not attract even one new manufacturer when we have a new era, is pretty damning.

To not attract even one new manufacturer when we have a new era, is pretty damning.Of course he can do more by improving the marketability of the series. Even the somewhat moribund Dakar attracted a new manufacturer in Audi with a sustainability ploy. The WRC should be exploiting their new "hybrid" rules, the "cleanliness" of electric antilag, their new synthetic fuel, etc, but instead they're going "don't expect any new manufacturers anytime soon", as if holding up their hands and relieving themselves of responsibility should the series continue declining.

Today we’ve covered almost 130 km,and tomorrow we have another 180 km. The car works very cool,there is a little lack of energy intensity of the suspension at the jumps–we grumble, but we take the heat–so far so good. In terms of the pace,everything is excellent,it’s very cool!

The issue is most of the coverage is behind a paywall, with very little 'free to air' coverage. What manufacturers are going to sign up with that? It needs a change in policy, but that isn't what WRC Promoter tends to do.

The lack of free content (even the removal of rally radio, or an audio stream of WRC+!) alienates a *lot* of users. And 100 euro a year for "unlimited content" might seem a dandy price for Europeans or Americans but it's a steep ask for the rest of the world. Nice World Rally Championship you got there when Kenyans or Argentines are gonna have a hard time justifying that price.

The entire highlights program has become a shadow of its former self, they don't even bother taking out the parts of commentary from all live and to add insult to injury, I need to hear Jon Desborough for nearly 30 minutes, with all due respect to him. Tbh it's quite a joke, I wish they would at least try to make it better.

Yeah, that's a fast section, but at the same time it's almost boring to go on 6th gear for so long. However, the small road after that has some very awesome jumps. Great stage, but too much chicanes.

Any of these stages would do better as the power stage than what we have tomorrow.

I am really really impressed by Fourmaux. He has little experience on gravel but is nearly on the pace of the fastest guys today, constant top 5. Now Gryazin he is on the WRC2 podium! And that with the Fiesta that is reported to be not too good on gravel. Just look at his teammate who should be more at ease on that kind of stages.
