The first track of the season that I enjoy :D I'll be hoping to carve out a championship lead here.

It has been a very exciting start to the season with Vuko, Homer and J.Brown all on 14points and Borkowski on 13. Hopefully Homer can take part in this one :(

Very pleased with a short practice session we had at Zandvoort today.
Perhaps back in the points for this round...

Wednesday :)

The day is the important one, not the date

Finished our race, and very pleased with the result. Used whopping amounts of downforce, but the car did what we asked of it. Had a goof or two at the twisty right left, but overall a very clean run...

I was very happy with my Qualifying time - very quick! but I couldn't get near it in the race - the fuel load & 80% tyres really made it a different car. The traffic for the last 3 laps was difficult to negotiate. Still hoping for a podium spot!

what a great track! that place is a blast!

high speed, very challanging corners followed by long full-throttle sections that enabled you to refocus for the next challanging part. very cool.

I was quite happy with my pace. finally got my car set up to where I can take a proper line through the corners - out-in-out instead of spastic & all over the place.

I spend most of my sponsorship money practicing my V8 car, but all things considered I think I'll be happy with my run here.

qualified in the 1:09's!

16th May 2007, 21:43
let JB take his time. I don't want to hear any excuses when I beat him :burnout:

and if you think I'm just blowing smoke, get this: I had a faster lap than anyone did last year! (not counting guys named Vuko)

p.s. you guys know I usually suck real bad, so please allow me to gloat a little on the rare race when I do ok. thanks :D

mixed feelings race for me!

even if I knew I was going slow compared to the top drivers in this championship I was happy with the pace I was having... until lap 10... when I finally catched that orange Mercedes that was running on 2nd, damn whoever is the idiot that was driving it he's gonna meet my fist soon :angryfire many blocking moves sent me to the grass and damaged my suspension so my tyres started to wear up faster and ended up lapping 3 secs lower than my fastest lap.

I believe the orange Mercedes is Alexandros Margaritis who tended to be at the back in 2005. :p :

Hi all, just dropped in to apologise for signing up for the championship and not participating. I have had some extra duties to perform at work, and this leaves me very little time to get into the forums, let alone get the old PS2 out. Of the time I have spare, the wife eats up most of that, as the married of you can understand. I hope to look in and follow who is leading the championship form time to time, and who knows, next year I may have more time to get involved. Cheers to you all, and enjoy your racing. Maxu05

5th place..not too bad. Kept in reasonable touch with the guys in front.

Brno isn't too bad..you need a good flow round it..screw one corner up and you screw the next one as well.

I ran wide at Turn 3 (the right hander before the hairpin) a coupel of times in the race which ruined my suspension, and generally was pretty inconsistent during the race, which was a shame, going by my fastest lap i could have been abit higher.

That turn is a pain! I purposefully turn in really deep so I don't drift out too far at that point...

I copied my time down wrong and just sent in my time now having only come to that conclusion when Racer 69 suggested that yesterday. I understand if Racer 69 won't include my time as it is a day late but would appreciate if he did since I would have been 3rd :)

we'll all THINK of you as the 3rd place finisher. but I don't want to be bumped down to 7th! j/k

I've never driven Brno. can't wait to see what it's like. it seems to have stirred some emotions!
