Some driver or drivers are using Printsport (Finland) machinery.

They are looking for truckdriver to deliver MB Atego + Trailer to Canary.

They have Polo R5, Fabia R5, Evo X and 208 R2, so it could be what so ever...

Could be Finnish or foreign driver.

Another Polo R5 joins the 'Islas Canarias'

Teo Martín Motorsport has announced the acquisition of a new Volkswagen Polo R5. It will be the first to arrive in our country, where it plans to land next April 12.

Although they have not yet revealed the team that is going to climb the Volkswagen Polo R5, they have announced their program. Will be in the new Supercampeonato de España, starting in the second of his appointments, the Rally Islas Canarias. In this way, the island of Gran Canaria ensures the presence of one of the vehicles that is giving more to speak in the category.

The squad that directs Teo Martín has indicated that they will play some other test outside the S-Cer "with the aim of improving the tuning and adaptation of the car to the Spanish sections."

"The rallies have always been one of my passions and I am proud to have a team competing in the Spanish Super Rally Championship with Volkswagen, the objective is to fight for the title with the Polo R5, a great car with which we are sure to celebrate many successes, "said the owner of the team, Teo Martín.

I bet BRR arent happy with VW, having to go back to running their old Skoda's for reliability.

Plus sales of new Polo's wont be done any good with these issues. I hope it'll be M-Sport's gain ! ;)

Although the season for the Russian driver has not started in the best way, the charismatic Alexey Lukyanuk hopes to reverse the situation in the Spanish round that is part of the European calendar and where he himself treasures the victory in the last two editions. Its debut in competition with the Citroën C3 R5 ended in the Azores in an accident, after a rollover that has totally destroyed the chassis number 27 of this mount.

With the intention of continuing to fight to try to revalidate the European title, the French team will make available to you a brand new chassis of this model and that corresponds with the numbering 36. It should be remembered that the unit injured in the Azores was also totally new and due the accident suffered will not be able to continue competing in the remaining rallies of the calendar.

As it could not be otherwise, Lukyanuk has been enormously grateful to the Saintéloc Racing team, not only for putting a new car in their hands, but also for all the work done in recent weeks that has allowed them to finish this new unit in time before boarding it for the Canary Islands. Now, the responsibility balances on the side of Alexey Lukyanuk, who must respond with a good result.

I do wonder whether he's now relying on family funding. His dad was wealthy back when he was running the WRC car but I believe his property development business suffered some hard times and the family were left relatively hard up. And to think they were waiting for the Polo to become active so they could benchmark their new Fiesta against it... :erm:

Early days but the un-fancied C3 R5s already a sizeable way in front.

It’s always been pretty good on smooth tarmac to be fair.

Jan Talaš was excluded. His car was too light (or the car weight was not properly adjusted to his new very light co-driver).

- great stage but I think that it's totally different than the rest of the rally
- spectator safety is non existent

ERC uploaded yesterday’s live streams to YouTube. I guess they are streaming video from stop line and heli via 4G mobile signal as the quality is pretty bad.. BUT maybe this is something that can be developed for the future to give us a bit of live ERC action again on the cheap. Good to see them trying new things anyway.

Lopez is registred into ERC1 Junior (former U28) so he is the winner. Ingram is second and Loubet third.

Lopez isnt an ERC Championship contender so I dont worry about him.

It occurred to me this was another incident where Luky damaged the left front of his car like previously in Azores and Barum. Maybe nothing significant in it or maybe not?

Great win from Lopez/Rozada and huge congrats to Sports&You, the Portuguese team runing Citroen Spain programme. Lopez was the only one able to match Lukyanuk pace and press the Russian to a mistake, like in the (sad) old days.

Nice battle in ERC3 with a balanced field of different cars; the Fiesta almost won and seems to have a huge potencial. Even if there’s still a poor entry, adding RGT to N4 in ERC2 was a positive move to the series. Bring on Liepaja!

Front-wheel-drive category was totally dominated by the Frenchmen. It's a 1-2-3 for France in ERC3:

But we shouldn't be surprised:
