To rallycross it seems, first Rovanperä to Finnish SuperRallyCross and now Jani Paasonen to European Rallycross Championshiphttp://www.yle.fi/urheilu/etusivu/id74775.html

I saw Per Eklund on the last years with the Saab 9.3. A fantastic car and an old man without age. In 2005 talked with him in Lousada (portuguese round of ERC) about the age to retire, and he said "is soon to think about that!"

KKK has a driving school. And he's NOT drinking booze according to his own words.

And Timo Salonen sells card these days. Ari Vatanen is a member of EU parliament So basically he is not doing much.

And when will we see him in action at NORF? I mean, we had Markku, Timo and Ari doing it after some years of retiring. Only his privately run cars weren't so good over the years.

Juha Kankkunen

WRC.com

"Organisers of the Incas Road Rally, Peru's best known rally, have announced Juha Kankkunen's participation in this year's classic event.

The four-times world champion will drive the punishing 10-day rally in a Group N Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VIII with co-driver Seppo Harjanne.

In the past, renowned rally drivers have made an appearance at the South American event. Tony Fall won the rally in 1969 in a Ford Escort. One year later, Hannu Mikkola entered but retired early. In 1995, former Audi and British Leyland factory driver John Buffum competed in an Audi Coupe S2, but lost a potential victory when he was excluded for running with an oversized turbo restrictor.

Kankkunen will aim to follow Fall's path when the rally starts on Friday, September 14, and finishes in the capital city of Lima on Sunday, September 23. "

Ah. I miss those days with F2/kitcar. When Puras drove Citroèn Xsara F2 with Seb.

Me my self enjoyed a Opel Astra F2 kitcar for some years ago. Loove those cars :)
