That's an interesting one and quite a surprise. Any ideas which of the Manufacturers that will switch to Pirelli?

I guess no one wanted DMACK tyres for next year, I wonder if they'll really be back after the sabbatical.

Their target market seems to be more WRC2/ERC and regional champsionships, that's where their tyres seem to sell well. So I wonder if WRC is really just for exposure, now they go back to focusing on making profit.

@Dmack-tyres
Just to be clear AGAIN ! We are not out of the 2018 WRC, we will be there for the eighth season with a new range of tyres for WRC, WRC2, WRC3, privateers and anyone else that wants to win !! https://t.co/fQJJMdvTjy

It's great to have Pirelli back. A brand with amazing rally heritage; nice to see Chinese owners respecting Pirelli independence.
DMack has been quite bold; it's not easy to challenge a giant like Michelin at the WRC! Leaving the manus target and developing their good work in the lower categories seems to be a sensible choice. Best luck to them.

I hope we will see WRC17 cars with all 3 tyre manufacturer tyres.
For sure in WRC2/RC2 we will see those 3 and maybe others also MRF? Hankook? Kumho?

STAGE wins...
Fun Friday Fact: in 2016 Ott Tanak scored 30 fastest WRC stage times using DMACK tyres. In 2017 he also scored 30 stage wins using Michelin tyres !
