Tomorrow starts the 4th event of the italian rallies championship, the Targa Florio, which feats its 100th birthday(oldest motor event in Italy) !!! :bounce:


Three S2000 drivers(Basso, Rossetti, Perico), many GrN drivers(among favourites: Andreucci, Cantamessa, Longhi, Aghini,...), some S1600 drivers,...

Results are damn slow to come :(

On SS1 infos I've got are that Andreucci(Mitsu Lancer) set best time in front of Basso(Fiat S2000), Rossetti(Peugeot S2000), Longhi(Subaru Impreza)...Perico(Peugeot S2000)was 9th fastest, Cantamessa(Subaru Impreza) has gearbox problem...

Tom, Cantamessa is running with a EVO IX... and unfortunately he retired with Gear box problems :(

3x best times, nice battle in S2000 too, but Rosetti lost 5 secs on stage 3. 2nd time for Perico on stage 3, which is good too!!!

Is it true ralliart itali is driving some IRC rounds too? I hope they pick Andreucci to drive in Ypres, would love to see this guy fighting belgians on Ypres roads!!!

I think Ralliart Italy will run some IRC events.. but not with Andreucci... they will give support to some privateers drivers who wants to enter in IRC events..

On the SS3 Rossetti has lost lot of time because he had a puncture!
F Guerra driving the Peugeot 206 S1600 from Racing Lions is also out because he had engine problems.

After SS5, Andreucci is in the lead with 30s advantage over Basso and 1m03s over Perico...

After his puncture in SS2, Rossetti is back in the fight, 4th overall only 3s off Perico :up:

I'm in exactly the same situation! :( There should be something like pitstop.tv but on European level, where all video footage comes to one central point.

Amazing performance of Paolo Andreucci and his co-driver Ana Andreussi! They are almost writting a history in a modern rallying-to be faster with gr.N4 car on tarmac in compare to S2000-not forget, drivers of those cars in Italy are all top-drivers(Basso, ex EU champion!!) is realy unbeliveble.
Andreucci, last year champion in Italian championship with Punto S2000 has now a new motive-to be first driver, who won a national championship with WRC car(focus, 2001), S1600 (punto, 2003) and as already mentioned last year crown.
Go, Paolo, go....

*uhum* Basso is not ex-ERC champion, but he is CURRENT ERC and IRC champion... ;)

Interesting to see.. that in CIR.. I don't see drivers saying that their tyres aren't good... like we used to see in WRC because of Pirelli VS BFGoddrich...

And don't forget.. Andreucci is running with Pirelli and Rosseti and Basso with BFGoodrich
