Wonder if they will submit times.....

This rally was done at a safe pace as there is plenty of time to loose in the deep mud (heavy rain during the rally) and out in the trees.

I'll be happy if I finish ahead of Rat ;) Which I might not as he's been closing in on me during the season.

BTW I have made a tribute site to this championship here:

Marcel finishes rally Argentina

Damm, this was a difficult rally! After the long break it was very hard to drive on the limit on these tricky stages. Luckily the balance of the car was just perfect, so it was just us who couls screw up. Besides some missed corners and some lucky escapes in which we only tapped the many trees beside the roads, the rally went perfect and times were pretty competitive after all. We hope we can beat GrP again so we could again get back a couple of lost points.

I've had an absolutely miserable rally thus far. Day 1 was 80% wet. We've had multiple spins ( and completing the spin facing the wrong way), rolled twice, several offs....

Hope day 2 will be a bit kinder to us...

Finished day 1 with some interesting times. Some spins and hay bales, logs and trees kept getting in the way! Very wet all day. I hope day 2 gets better.

Javier, you have mail!
What a wet rally! From fog to damn wet roads and caught out with the wrong tyres.
Day 2: we were faster than on the previous day by ALOT. Dunno where the extra speed came from, maybe just desperate to finish. We hit quite a few logs, trees and walls. Survived a few spins also. Good work by the Team to put the car back together to keep us going.

WHEW! Close finish for an unexpected 4th for us, but we drove a really, REALLY crappy rally. Should have finished in the mid 49 minute bracket.

Congrats to the Bolivian punk on a well-deserved podium on a rally where he performs enviously well....

4th! Well done Tannat. I tried to get into the points, but probs with the game cutting out(now sorted) and a lack of time didn't get me there.

Wow. I didn't expect that 5th place. I had a terrible rally. I hate the mud in UK. I thought I will be 2 min. from the last one.

sorry for the really long delay, stage-by-stage results are now available at the yahoo group, here's some stats of the rally

- Stage Wins: Marcel Haenen 20
- Rally leaders: SS1-SS20: Marcel Haenen
- Besides the dominance of the rally leader, Cybrog_hun also dominated 2nd place, never having any threat to losing it and not finishing 2nd on a stage only once
