(...) if you describe other rally cars as a yoghurt pots (...)
Lost in translation...
'Yogurt pot' refer to all small cars in Ogier's / Ingrassia's language and it started with the 'original' Fiat 500.
Although weird the meaning is rather 'small & cute' than anything negative.

It would be as if Paddon would say "sh!t boxes", it'll offend some but we know what it means. I think too it's the language barrier.

All right. Objection sustained.
Ingrassia not guilty.

The over-the-hood view isn't so bad; that's what was being shown on the live broadcast and it was pretty good at showing how hair-raising the stage was.
Agree with you, I'm fine with that angle.
Agree with you, I'm fine with that angle.
People with low standards in life are the reason we all suffer... go away and take Latvala with you.

I prefer it, I'd be disappointed if they get rid of the current one, but understand the demand for it.
I'd prefer the choice to be available to be honest. At the moment they have the dash cam and the face cam... what's the point of the latter? Has anyone ever watched that one for a while? Replace the face cam with the 'behind the driver' one and I don't think anyone would complain.

To analyze this famous Rally Argentina WRC, I chatted at length, at leisure, with Thierry Neuville; Here are some "highlights" of this interview to be published this Wednesday, May 4, in the Belgian Auto Trends Magazine Monthly
- "I'll say it again:" It's great for Hyundai But I'm frustrated ...! "
- "Paddon has great roll: when Ogier returned 3 '', he did not panic and pulled out a gun to finish the fight! That said, if he was able to unpin '' El Condor '', it was because he was not nominated and he had not the need to finish to score big points for the constructor . "
You mean he had the green light from team to try everything?
- "Sure, we told him to go for it, and it could make or break ... and he won (...) But it is never the second victory of the team, after mine in Germany! "
Paddon is in your ways somehow? (wink)
- "Here he is THE perfect race. But he has not experienced any glitch ... This is what still adds to my disappointment. To my frustration same! Lose 6 minutes for an electrical sensor is too frustrating! But I obviously delighted to Paddon! "
Your look on Hayden Paddon ... on the man?
- "It's a nice guy, nice, simple. But it's a hard worker, a hard worker who has sacrificed a lot in his youth to achieve WRC.
Frustration, you said - you understand it well ... - eign you the how?
- "When you think you are suddenly 6 minutes already, you pests. After, when you see a teammate win is even harder ... You tell yourself that if you had not had to worry, could you too ... And that, I am sure! "
So this frustration, how to forget?
- "By telling me 3 things: 1. Paddon was able to enjoy a perfect Hyundai; 2. thanks to that he was able to compete with and beat Ogier VW; 3. ... soon it will be my turn! "
Precisely, Portugal, will you play to win?
- " Certainly ! In Argentina, Paddon has scratches 5 (6 Latvala and Ogier 4). Our Hyundai is in rhythm. I myself signed one scratch, without being highly motivated, and without taking any risk because after my loss of 6 min. it was not that I damage the car, he especially had I gleans some points ...
- Also, when I see how the Paddon himself has abused in 'El Condor' ', without breaking it, is that it is really strong: from now on, we will be able to go really! (Laughs) ... "
See you in Portugal, then?
- " And how ! We'll all be overexcited ... But, me! All the more so, since I will not be nominated - which was the case in Argentina ... Paddon - and that I will not have the obligation to bring points for the constructor, I can go for it! "

very hard to understand some sentences but what i understand is that he will be doing "Paddon" in Portugal and he is somewhat jealous at him and pissed that the car breaks down.

What's so wrong with it? You can see the car in relation to the road, brake and acceleration are easy to hear. Plenty of other sports use a throttle/brake overlay along with speed and gear on the corner of the screen, which would make a lot of the amateur and professional analysts happy.
I agree the bumper camera isn't good for reviewing anything, but it's great for the extreme factor and that wing needs to be entertained. In the 90s cameras on the front fender served a similar purpose. A few seconds here and there will be fine. I think cameras on the drivers are best for the end of the stage or right after an off when they're swearing or having to get out of the car.
Maybe editing is the biggest challenge; knowing which camera to use at any given time.
What's so wrong with it?
you cannot see what the driver is doing
you cannot see the lines the car follows
you cannot see where the car is in relation to the road
but as i said, the problem is not them, they are just incompetent and easily replaceble...
the problem is people like you who cannot see the problem and you impose your low standards to everyone who wants more... because unfortunately you are not replaceable.

You can see the car in relation to the road
No You can't, You just see the right side of the car in relation to the road, driver's perspective is completely ignored.
brake and acceleration are easy to hear.
There are tools as microphones for this.

Thanks, Seems he is motivated, and there is little animosity between Paddon and Neuville, hopefully Neuville can bring the fight and not push the car to hard. Also for Paddons sake hopefully the #3 car gremlins are gone.
Question for any knowledgeable pple. Paddon drives the #3 chassis, would there be any noticeable difference by the driver of the chassis through engineering tolerances of manufacturing between the #3 and #20 chassis?

I think they just change the numbers on the cars. The numbers aren't assigned to any car in particular. So Paddon will have theoretically the same car as before, likewise Neuville.

It is not a case of keeping same car and swapping numbers.
Cars are entered by teams. The team is required to keep chassis and key components for a number of linked events. "Hyundai Motorsport" and "Hyundai Motorsport N" are different teams. If drivers are swopped between teams during linked events then the drivers need to swap cars.
While I understand the general principle I would be very interested in learning more about how this works in practice from someone who understands the detail of the regulations

Yes i think you are right, but I don't think this has been the case for Paddon. The only place where it came into effect was in Rally Sweden 2015 when Paddon was promoted to the top team for one rally in place of Sordo who was injured thus Paddon driving with Sordo's differential settings. I think Paddon has said in one of a Q&A i believe that it didn't make a difference in terms of the car which "team" he drives for.

In Portugal Hayden will drive "his" car wearing #3, likewise Thierry will be in "his" car wearing #20
With linked events such as Mexico & Argentina the car number is attached to the VIN so as an example had Hayden been promoted to the Manufacturers team for Argentina and Thierry moved back to the N team then they would have had to swap cars.

FYI Different car, but rebuilt to his specs
Question (may be silly?) if you have time Hayden Paddon, you are in the #3 car for the next round, is that physically Thierry's car from Argentina? If so, are there small differences in the balance of the car that you notice due to say manufacturing tolerance differences with may be the chassis or what ever?
Hayden Paddon
Hayden Paddon Hi xxxx. It makes no difference at all as the cars are all effectively rebuilt to be a brand new car after each event with new components and all my normal setup
