I think it'd be more interesting to collect information from national series for 2016 here, not to look in the past anymore.

So Finnish season 2016 looks like this:

Ralli SM -osakilpailut 2016

WINTER/snow
1 28.-30.1. Arctic Lapland Rally, Rovaniemi
2 26.-27.2. SM Vaakuna Ralli, Mikkeli
3 11.-12.3. Tahko SM-Ralli, Kuopio
SUMMER/gravel
4 10.6. Sastamala-Huittinen Ralli, Sastamala-Huittinen
5 19.-20.8. SM-Ralli Turku Turku
6 23.-24.9. Pirelli Ralli Tampere

All important information will be available at http://www.rallism.fi/content/fi/1/10005/Etusivu.html

Not much of rumours for 2016 season has reached me yet. There should be a handful of R5s, Juha Salo and Jussi Vainionpää of course with their PSA kits, but also Hannu's Rally Team's Fabia R5 should run in FRC with possible several drivers. TGS should have Fabia by now, but it's available for rent not exclusively to Finland.

Biggest change to regulation is the addition of all 2.0 litre WRC cars. So far only pre-2003 has been allowed, not it's all up to 2010. Maybe a few more historic WRCs will arrive to spice the competition.

Also, you all should check out new YouTube videos after these dates - which are F-Cup calendar for 2016:

WINTER/snow
23.1. Valkeala F-cup
6.2. Kangasniemi ralli
5.3. JMK-Ralli 2016, Jämsä

SUMMER/gravel
28.5. Uusikaupunki-ralli
3.9. Black Rocket Ralli, Tervakoski
1.10. Salpausselkä-ralli, Lahti

There's quite a bit of turmoil off-season in F-Cup now. Drivers are unhappy with promoter for this season and demand a change for 2016 - otherwise the core of drivers will boycott the series. Something will change, but what and how is still up in the air. Hopefully they get it fixed, since this is the most popular series in Finland.

Of course, if you're interested in Finnish rallying, following our Twitter account keeps you updated, like always. Looking ahead for another busy season on stages!

5.3. JMK-Ralli 2016, Jämsä

F-Cup in Jämsä will be mainly in old/current NesteOil Rally stages (Ouninpohja in wintertime without pace notes should interest forum members) of course route is secret until the start.

You're right Hartusvori, even if the idea was to make a season review it makes sense to turn it into a current report for national series. I've removed 2015 from the first post but don't know how to do it in the thread title. Any help?

Jooo jooo jo pojken men tänk på alla andra som inte kan läsa din udda dialekt (o ser inte hur lätt det är att skifta lite så det blir en annan språk)
Jag menadade en lite not eller antekning på antal deltagare..

On that point lets say in advance.
Champignonskit for Merikuh:

who cares..its just 11 to 13 rich or indebted guys who aside for Dave Higgins, none could come higher than 50th in any event in real rally in say Sweded or Finland.

It would be nice with a global calendar like in 2011 https://calendar.google.com/calendar/embed?src=amk4c2VzaGdvN2wwdHAza3Y0YmttYXJkcW9AZ3Jv dXAuY2FsZW5kYXIuZ29vZ2xlLmNvbQ&gsessionid=OK (you have to browse back to 2011 to see any entries).

A similar for Finnish events: https://akk.autourheilu.fi/Public/Kiti/Competition/CompetitionCalendar.aspx

Joulukuu = December
Tammikuu = January etc.
Listaus = list
Kalenteri = calendar
Kilpailukalenteri = event calendar
Sarjat = series
Kuukausi = month
Viikko = week
Päivä = day
Hae = search
Näytä valinnat = show options

In the calendar rallies are in red,
sprints = yellow
ice track / circuit = white
grey = circuit
etc.

Well you know i think that F-cup is maybe the best series in the whole world, and more fun to watch than the Whirled Champignonskit.. so you say news about F-cup, I listen.

Know what the gripe is with promoter? Not enough news or promotion? Classes? Are they pissed at how Jaska in Volvo 240 is doing so good? Costs?
