Crash dot net gave me spyware!

One of their annoying pre-front-page ads gave me some spyware, I'm sure of it. Has anyone else encountered any problems with the wannabe-Autosport?

No, but I always block pop-ups, never click on any ads and use a Mac :p

there are no suspect links on that site, if you use IE7 there are some concerns over cookies collecting private data but no evidence of unauthorised download or install.

If in doubt, install spyware blocker such as Spybot. Otherwise IE7 or Firefox will add security.

There is an ad going about currently on a few website's through the banner allocation companies out there, i think it's called 'drivecleaner'...
That's a nasty one, trys to install itself straight off... the 'no' button does'nt do anything so Alt + F4 the lot asap!
