So this week end, it was opening round for ARC : Rallye Bandama. As you probably know, Alain Ambrosino is now at the head of the race, and wants it back to WRC. The field of car was correct, with 23 entries, which is more or less the same than 2014, and much more than what was used in the 00's.
Unfortunately, there was only 2 outsiders entries. Two french drivers, one with a 207 R3T, and another with a 106. The rest of the field was local entrants (composed of french expats + ivoirian at par).
The main opposition was between Gary Chaynes, african and ivoirian champion (french expat) and Moriféré Soumaoro, the best ivoirian. Both of them suscribed for ARC, and there were the only (Singh Chatthe from Kenya was supposed to come, but he withdrewed).
Quickly, Soumaoro retired, so it was an easy drive for Chaynes. Only Molinié received to beat him.
We have to notice that only one stage was run two times, and there was a 64 km stage ! None of the stage was cancelled, so quite good.

Classification :
