After the Formula 1 race I stumbled upon the rallycross round. And WRX is so much better than F1. If situation doesn’t improve I might move with my team to WRX next season. Or to WEC. We’ve send one of our drivers to Le Mans this year for reconnaissance.

Everyone has a budget of 48,000,000 with which you use to build a team. Your team will consist of:
- two official drivers
- a 3rd driver
- one chassis
- one team-engine.

We fully understand the reason why the budget cap was introduced and we fully support cost reduction but it’s getting ridiculous at the moment. We request permission to buy the second chassis and engine. Nico is feeling really uncomfortable sitting on Maldonado’s laps and it’s really tight in the cockpit.

Unfortunately our solution to the problem wasn’t met with approval.

You will have to score 106pts at Spa to beat Henners. It's quite a big ask as it's hard to score more than 100pts even with a bonus round, but it's do-able. Looks like it's between you two for the title. Congrats to both of you.

Meanwhile, Ford Focus F1 Team is satisfied with the way the season is going, with several podiums including a maiden win. We are still in 6th and our aim is simply to bag a top 10 in the WDC.

Underdog Jens GP Racing is happy that Malaysian Grand Prix was a one-off and Mercedes keeps winning consistently, thus justifying the move to an all-Mercedes line-up, which has moved us further up the standings.

Underdog Jens GP Racing is also satisfied that Raikkonen has had a few cr@ppy weekends, weakening our direct rivals, who have chosen him as a driver. However, we have to concede that as Ferrari is a very good car, Raikkonen is still likely to finish in top 5 most of the time, and thus it probably won't help us much in the future.

This year FIA introduced controversial ruling preventing drivers from changing their helmet designs. It has proved unpopular with very small group of so called ‘hardcore fans’ but others welcomed this change. “We had created separate budget for painting Vettel’s helmets” says Ferrari team boss. “Now we can spend this money on getting estimated extra 60bhp with our engine”. ※ Vivaldi Mercedes-Ferrari went even further with introducing small changes to the shape of the helmet. “The idea is very simple” says technical director. “It’s very difficult for casual fan to tell on which track they are. Even I, a professional working in F1 for over 20 years, sometimes get confused on which track are we actually racing. That’s why we introduce different helmet designs – after just looking on the helmet you can immediately tell whether it’s a fast or slow track.” There were some protests from other teams but he reassures us that this designs serves no aerodynamical purposes. “The horizontal shape is necessary to house 2 cameras on the edges. It was never attempted before but now we can stream live onboards in glorious 3D so much desired by our casual fans (currently available only on Jupiter Station 3, not available on Earth). This design was approved by FIA and will be in use during upcoming races.”

Since McLaren decided to go graphite gray instead of silver I steered my son wrong. Next season when he asks for silver he'll get Mercedes and a better run. For now I am happy not letting him know how bad he is doing. :)

Sorry I haven't been around at all this season. I've been far too busy sleeping off champagne hangovers and bouncing Rolex watches off my groupies bums for Instagram photos on my yacht.

I'm happy to say being the championship leader hasn't changed me. I've only sacked 740 of my 800 workforce since my impressive 7th place a few years ago. It's important to remain grounded I think and remember the people who get you there.

To finish in the top7 is a fine result. But an all-Mercedes gamble was supposed to work at least fine in such a predictable season.

Effectively all teams in places P3-P7 had the same team, so bonus races and Marcus Ericsson (!) made the difference.:)

※ Vivaldi Mercedes-Ferrari is a really good buy. It’s the best of the so-called expansion teams who joined the grid this year, scoring several podium results (beaten to wins only by bonus teams) and finishing in top 10 on its debut season.
