They will get popped when they try to fence the stolen items. I seriously doubt they stole them because they wanted them for themselves.

I'm sure they were insured and Red Bull can have replacements made. Some of them were replicas anyway.

Vettel was behind it!

Yeah as they say the intrinsic value is very low. What would they do with them? Dumb criminals indeed.

Stolen to order surely. Especially given that both vehicles had foreign plates.

Though it's hard to imagine who would go to such extremes to possess something like this.

I'm surprised nobody's picked up on the fact the second vehicle involved was a Mercedes... ;)

Wow, I didn't know Seb was so vindictive; disappointed, very disappointed indeed. What's even more sad is that he had to drag one of his countrymen into the caper, as I have it on good authority that Slash was the muscle in this heist.
I refuse to comment on the unsubstantiated rumor that Kimi was the wheel-man for the get away in this Job.

Aww you guys beat me to it. I was gonna post something along the lines of

Zoinks! We'd better call Mystery Inc to solve the mystery. Like Hey Scoob check it out.

And the villain is revealed to be - Sebastian Vettel! And he would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for those pesky kids, and their dumb dog!

That's actually the first thing that crossed my (warped) mind. Sebastian V. + 12 Jägerbombs + 4x4 = stolen Red Bull trophies.

Maybe it was the FIA wanting to reclaim the trophies RedBull won using illegal cars?

They would have just fined them $100 million.
