Who 11 running at the end and a crazy race.

Give us your views and rate it out of 10.

OK, I'll give it a 7.5 out of 10. Lots of action and suspense although maybe for the wrong reasons.

Exactly my thoughts. 8/10 out of sheer entertainment value.

8.5/10
The race was entertaining without yellow flags or rain. Great stuff!!

It was a good race, spiced up by Merc problems and sadly a scary accident late on. So happy to see both drivers appear to be OK.

I would think its deserving of an 8/10

7/10 for me, saved by Mercedes breaking down and giving us another winner. Shame it wasn't both Mercs getting to the end though.

That's all we can hope for. If Mercs break down there be racing.

We used to say the same about Red Bull in a tongue in cheek sort of way but as you well know from supporting Vettel, the team have done a great job to get to the front. I would love to see the gap decreased to the other teams but breaking down wouldn't be fair on the two Merc drivers who are working very hard for the championship and very hard fighting each other. I'd prefer a fair result which is why I thought it was a shame to see Lewis retire today. I wouldn't have minded Daniel winning still, but it would have been nice to see both Merc drivers rewarded for a problematic car IMO.

7/10

enough to keep me awake till 0130 on a humid and hot night (which normally happens only for football...which is in 4 days)

also fun to see the dominating mercs trip up, of course Rosberg dnf would have been better for the title race. Good for Ricciardo too. Massa a bit unfortunate to not get a podium.

I'll give it an 8 again even though I didn't watch it! Was surprised to see only 11 finishers in the results.

That's way too harsh. At least, we have already seen good competition within the Mercedes team, which is a whole lot better compared to Webber's "rivalry" with Vettel past 2010. Even without Mercedes cars breaking, it would have been a good race. And cars breaking wasn't an unusual sight decades ago. There have been plenty of races in 80-90s with just 10 or less cars finishing.

If Rosberg's car had died about when Hamilton's car did, I'd give the race an 8 - maybe a 9 if it had happened on the exact same lap, within sight of each other. But since only my guy's Merc died, I have to give it a 7/10. The racing action was pretty good otherwise though.
