Perhaps this will encourage BMW to get the two RAC 320si running on E85 as they have with Flash Engineering's two 320si as tests too see if they need to make improvements to their cars by 2009

I particularly the bit at the bottom where it says all manufacturers will take part in the programme to analyse the biofuels and to decide which is the best one. I believe the programme would benefit enormously with the contribution of Chevrolet, SEAT, Alfa and of course BMW.

So, what would happen after they analyse the fuels? Would they then start developing cars on the best fuel which has less fossil components and more bio?

This is great news for the series and motorsport in general, hopefully more series will follow the WTCCs lead, although it was still the BTCC that set the ball rolling for bio-ethanol.

Perhaps the WRC will be biofuelled at some point
