I was just browsing the Le Man 24 hours entry list and thought it would be good to post it on here.

Cant wait to see how Porsche do. Hope they can get towards the Audi and Toyotas, but maybe it will be a bit early to challenge for the win yet.
Here are the WEC entries and thus Le Man entry cars.:)

Cool pics!
Porsche seem to be up there, if the Paul Ricard tests were any indication.

If the lap around the Nürburgring was anything to go by, a Holden Ute built to LM GTE Pro regulations (probably either by Triple Eight or GRM), I think would beat the Corvette C7s at Le Mans.
There'd be the same V8 under the bonnet and there's already plenty of race tested bits in the parts bin that they could use.
I still find it a little odd that VAG would choose to compete against itself.

Why? One is a 2.0LTurbo V4 petrol hybrid, the other is a 3.7L TurboDiesel Hybrid..... Completely different cars.

Nice entry for the top boys, shame there aren't a few more LMP1 on the fringes/privateers but I guess there's not much point trying to compete with the budgets of the others.
Obviously last year was marred by a number of nasty accidents and lengthy safety car periods plus of course the loss of Allan Simonsen in the first hour. However there was still some great racing, as with 2012, and hopefully Porsche will be able to get in the mix. I'm most interested by the ZEOD RC though. Really enjoyed seeing the Delta Wing have a decent outing a few years back so will be good to see a car based on the same technology (as far as I am aware). Not sure that NIssan aren't biting off more than they can chew by going down the route of having two developing ideas in the same car...but you still gotta admire anyone willing to push boundaries.
Worst part of Le Mans this year? I'm marshalling an event on the Saturday and driving from SW to NE England on the Sunday, so will miss pretty much the whole race and, due to being in the car, probably can't even listen to it :(

LOL Ferrari have raised the white flag on F1. Now they're looking for a competition they think they could win in!
