I'm surprised that no one has any recent comments on some of the latest news.

Kurt Busch doing the double.

Supposedly Bernie might make a bid for Long Beach when the current contract expires and bring F1 back. Personally I doubt this one. Don't see the Long Beach council ponying up the money Bernie would want.

Oriol Servia signed for a limited season with RLL.

The dispute over the National Guard sponsorship.

Indy Lights driver Jack Hawksworth getting a ride with Brian Herta's team.

Granted, not all that much going on but I thought it would generate a few comments.

I have never gotten round to following Indy car on a regular basis, but with all the ex f1 drivers this season I am determined to follow it and learn.

Hope to chat to you all in Indy this season.

Sorry to say, I have been spending most of my time at Trackforum - there just isn't enough activity here and it is sort of compounding itself….. I have always preferred this forum - but it seems like everyone left the house……

However, it has been an AWESOME off season. Lots of good news and a little controversy. Who would have thought we'd have JV back at Indy? Kurt Busch is actually doing the double (in a honda nonetheless)

Barnes is suing the IRL - sounds like CART/Champcar even more!

JPM is back and seems to be doing what he has to to be competitive (many had expressed doubt about that…)

F-1 introduced some cars to make us all forget how aesthetically challenged our own cars can be from certain angles and in certain configurations…. Compared to the new F-1 car the DW-12 is a beauty hands-down (I still think it is pretty sharp in speedway trim anyway)

AND we have one of the best title sponsors sour sport could hope for!!!!

I am really looking forward to another great season and answering the following questions:

1. How is Honda with the twin turbo?
2. Is JPM going to be competitive?
3. Can Kurt Busch pedal an Indycar in anger (no pun intended)?
4. Is Graham Rahal the real deal or a dud?
5. Can TK make the most out of the Target ride or is he past his prime?
6. Does losing HP take the wind out of Schmidt's sails?
7. Does anyone get bumped?

Double points will be given at the Triple Crown! I love that.
