As we get towards that time of the year again, I would like to wish all my fellow forum members a merry Christmas and a happy new year.

I will be away for a few weeks and look forward to some friendly banter when I return in the new year.

The schmenke clan is staying close to home, hibernating for the most part, with the occasional foray to the hills trying out some new equipment whilst trying to stay intact :D .

I am staying home for Christmas with Family. We do the same every year pretty much but we all enjoy it.

I have almost 3 weeks off work, so before and after Christmas & New Year I will have to find something to do, but mostly relax after a busy year.

In the Swedish jul (yule) the 24th is the important day and most people will have the traditional julbord which is a very old tradition which has its origin on the old pre-christian norse tratidition known as jólablót/julblot.
