Have you been to Rally Mexico? Tips welcomed

I am hoping those who have been to Rally Mexico are able to help. Given I will be in that part of the world, I am thinking about going to Rally Mexico in March 2014. None of the normal tour operators are doing guided tours. I am also willing to look at helicopter tours but I can't seem to find any of those either? Driving myself is not an option. I did read somewhere that there are buses to many of the stages, but I can't find any information. Any information or tips will be greatly appreciated! cheers

Visit http://www.rallymexico.com/plan-your-trip/tours there find the proposal of the organizers. in my view they are expensive. you also have the option of bus rally. For the latter you can buy tickets for every day and they take you to different stages.

You will also find 3 star hotels from around campus rally that is where the truck leaves.

For my part, I drive and I prefer to make use of it to go to each of the steps, I have never used the truck, I just read that is not much time on these and does not cover the last two of the day, but at least you can see the action and fill powder is what we will.

If you planned to rent a car and go stage, I would gladly spend the inforamción can to get to each of the stages without missing.

Thanks rayh_mx. I could not find any information on the buses, so I just booked the official rally tour last week (which as you say, is expensive....but hopefully it is worth it).

Of course it will be worth it. on the website of the Rally Mexico I found information of the RallyBus http://www.rallymexico.com/boletos/ralllybus and RallyPass http://www.rallymexico.com/boletos/rally-pass but only in Spanish.
