Have not heard anything about Al Jr. Is he in or out for 2007?

After his latest DUI arrest, i doubt anybody wants him represent their raceteam/sponsor.

Ummm, there's been guys with way worse histories than Jr's who've run Indy cars. You might be right though, but if he's clean I say run'im.

He might run a second Foyt car, It's all about money of course. Regardless, he will be at Indy as he will be inducted into the IMS Hall of Fame May 19.

Based on his recent activity he is more likely to be running from the law versus on a race track

IMO, the sun has pretty well set on Al Jr.'s racing career. Rather than continue living his life in a selfish (or self indulgent) way, it would be nice to see him trying to help his son salvage his career.

I'm not sure that we ever saw what "Just Al" was made of. Al doesn't seem to have done much for him. I'm not sure if other members of the Unser family have tried to help him or not. Maybe he just doesn't have the talent. But I don't think we ever saw him get the breaks or support that you'd figure someone from a racing family would get. It's very odd how the most successful family in Indy history has just sort of fallen off the map.
