He says he wants to move the fall Charlotte race to Las Vegas. NASCAR says they haven't been contacted for any realignment plans.

To the second question, yes, there is a resemblance. :D

As to the first, he could just be looking for concessions from Concord, and/or Cabarrus County (or are they in Mecklenburg?) Although, if push came to shove, I am sure he would/could do it as he is not one to make idle threats.

That's exactly what I was thinking. He's playing a game here but if they don't do what he wants, this move may become a reality.

Not only that, but I will not ever forgive him for ruining Atlanta! It was one of the best tracks on the circuit, with a unique configuration and identy. smith ruined it, by turning into, just another Charlotte Clone. I don't call it Atlanta Motor Speedway, I call it Charlotte Clone Atlanta Speedway! I will also not ever forgive him for what he did to both Rockingham and North Wilkesboro! Because of him, neither is on the Cup Schedule any longer!
