Thanks for that, I would not have expected live BSB to be broadcast here, yay! I can cheer for Kiyonari. I'll be wishing I could watch Motogp at Jerez too though.

I read on Crash.net that Kevin Schwantz, Yukio Kagayama and Nori Haga are to team up for the Suzuka 8 hour race at the end of July. I've not read anything about Nori since the end of BSB 2012 and felt a bit sad that he seemed to have quietly disappeared. I wish the 'old guys' well at Suzuka.

Isle of Man TT Races Clerk of the Course Gary Thompson, MBE, has taken the decision to postpone Saturday's Dainese Superbike race due to a lack of practice and qualifying time for competitors.

The poor weather earlier in the week resulted in the Monday's and Wednesday's qualifying sessions being untimed with Tuesday's cancelled.

Gary Thompson commented:

"Even before the house fire that affected this evening's session, the majority of the field simply hasn't had enough practice time on the Superbikes because of the bad weather earlier in the week. On behalf of the race organisation I'd like to apologise to anyone affected by the disruption on Sunday but we don't have an option. We will endeavour to get the roads open again on Sunday as soon as possible."

The revised schedule for the weekend is now as follows:

10.30 Superbike/Superstock/Supersport qualifying until 11.50

As most of you may already know, Japanese Tyco Suzuki rider Yoshi Matsu****a died last Monday as a result of a crash at Ballacrye during practice. Condolences to family, friends and the Tyco Suzuki team.

I'm quite glad there's no racing this weekend as we're hunkering down for expected rough weather from tomorrow and snow to sea level over the weekend, possible power cuts - the infrastructure is still quite fragile here. Supermarkets running out of carrots, what's that about? Enjoy your summer.
