Congrats to racegeek on their debut to the pickems to take the win! Very impressive.
mr_swiss and elan 02 round out the top 3 for this race. elan 02 and heliocastroneves#3 were the only two drivers to pick the winner!

heliocastroneves#3 retains the lead in the championship standings.
mr_swiss 2nd place finish this race propels him up 22 positions to 7th place (Tie)!

Well, just by looking at that page, you can tell that no one had a good week. Justin Wilson saved marcamillion however, giving them the win. raybak takes 2nd spot, and COD takes 3rd.

The top 3 from this race all move up 12 spots in the championship, respective to where they were last week...and marcamillion is your new points leader!

It's going to be a long season, folks ... we have to definitely dig deep within us to make these pickems work for us ... I can't seem to hoist myself up any higher than the bottom ten!

Congrats to djramdudley for picking TK for the win and also a correct pick of Andretti for 4th place! These picks were not easy, and your outstanding guess gets you a 3rd place finish. HCN#3 also picks Kanaan for the win, but austinthebruiser gets their first top 3 finish of the season!

Well, I want to thank everyone for going through the effort of making picks for the dual races this year. Your commitment is what makes this game fun!

austinthebruiser and mmw053 were the big winners this weekend, with two top 10 finishes each and a win for austinthebruiser.

I won the 2nd race!! :D I am now longer in last place of those that had picked for every race, which was my winning statistic after heat 1 :( .

austinthebruiser has now snaked his way into the top 5 in the championship, but GaryLW and HCN#3 hang on to the lead after the dual races.

Congrats to Starter for their first win of the season, correctly picking 2 of the 3 podium finishers in the correct spot! Mintexmemory runs a close 2nd with MD24 rounding out the top 3.

Special shout to tstran also, who picked Castroneves as the winner, but failed to accrue enough points to be up at the top.

This was a relatively standard top 8 finish race, it really came down to who picked drivers in the correct slot to make them stand out and gather the most points.

In the championship, HCN#3 retains the lead, but GaryLW has dropped out of the top 2 finally and now sits 5th place. Mintexmemory has now taken over the 2nd spot, ever so close behind the points lead. Starter and MD24 also gain the most ground this week moving up spots in the championship respectively, so great job you guys!

Remember to make your picks for Milwaukee, and remember the deadline is on FRIDAY as this is a Saturday race! Trying my best to keep 30+ members going in the pickem standings.

Big congratulations to SoCalPVGuy for taking the win this week, with 3 picks in the correct spot (WOW!). austinthebruiser takes 2nd spot with 3 correct placed picks also, and drewdawg727 takes 3rd place!

Almost half of the players picked RHR for the win.

austinthebruiser has now taken over the points lead in the competition, as this is their 4th top 5 finish in the last 5 races. In fact, HCN#3 has now dropped out of the top 3 altogether. Mintexmemory holds station in 2nd place, and Mekola has advanced one spot, quietly creeping in to the top 3.

drewdawg727 was the big mover this week in the midpack, advancing 5 spots up to 15th place.

Huge shakeup in the points this week, seems everyone is having their moment in the spotlight this season, as it seems to be tough to determine who is going to be on top at each race! But hey that's half the fun.

Congrats to Wim_Impreza for the win this week, choosing 3 drivers in the correct spot, including Oriol Servia, whom I had to switch on to the drivers list at the last minute! Alexamateo finishes 2nd, and gm99 in 3rd place.

No one picked Hinch to win, which is a bit surprising.

Alexamateo gains the most spots this week with the 2nd place finish, now sitting in 8th place. Mintexmemory has snatched the lead away from austinthebruiser, and GaryLW has clawed their way back up to the 3rd spot after a good showing this week.

Luis Pacheco takes the win this week, with fugariracing 2nd and mmw053 3rd.
Was a tough race overall to pick, as referenced by very barren Ganassi drivers in the top 3, but it was a surprise to all of us I think.

After missing the season opener, Luis Pacheco continues to climb the championship standings, with mmw053 and fugariracing moving up 5 and 6 spots in the championship respectively. Mintexmemory still has a healthy lead with glw067 and austinthebruiser continuing to battle for 2nd.

20 players have made a pick for every race, so shout out to those who stay faithful to the pickem game! Lets try to finish the season strong.

Mintexmemory has extended the championship points lead substantially after the 2 in TO this weekend, topping it off with winning round 2. mmw053 has had a very impressive weekend as well earning two top 5 finishes and now sitting 3rd place in the championship.

Woo hoo - Finally won one!! Didn't want to go the whole season without a green'un against my name. Late re-selection based on the grid news certainly helped. Unlike rallying, which is my particular thing I don't have any Indy faves so I'm entirely predicting dispassionately, based on form and road / oval speciality.

COD picks up their 2nd win of the season at a very tricky Mid-Ohio weekend! GaryLW takes 2nd place, and Mintexmemory continues to put in strong picks to take 3rd place.

Mintexmemory and GaryLW seem to be pulling away from those behind them in the standings, and COD has now jumped up 5 spots to 4th place with the win. Special mention to seb_sh as well, who moves up 4 spots to 27th place.

Season is wrapping up fast, and we are all wondering if the top 3 can even be caught!

gm99 takes the first win of their season with a correct pick for 1st and 3rd. GaryLW also picked Power to win and comes in 2nd place. And finally mr_swiss takes 3rd place with a 2nd place Power choice.

Our championship leader, Mintexmemory, has slipped a bit this week allowing GaryLW in 2nd place to close the gap slightly for the championship lead. Meanwhile, austinthebruiser has taken 3rd place and the battle for 3rd is really heating up in these closing rounds.

Well, it's easy to see by the mostly blank grid on this page that everyone had a rough week. However, EagleEye managed to scrape up enough points to take their first win of the season this week. Craftygalinstl takes a 2nd place, and djarumdudley takes 3rd place.

Although GaryLW's picks found them at the bottom of the standings this week, Mintexmemory came in last place which allowed the whole entire field to close in on the leader. GaryLW is now closing in on Mintex's lead, and the doubleheader at Houston can really split this championship wide open!

Join me in congratulating Mintexmemory your 2013 pickems champion! Well played this season, which in my opinion was the toughest bit of playing that we've had yet!

I apologize on behalf of the organizers at the issues we had towards the end of the season in regards to the forum changing. Hopefully everything has been sorted and next year's user interface is a bit easier to navigate.

I have not decided yet if I will continue the hosting for next season yet, as I don't seem to get on the forums as much as I would like, and I think someone a little more dedicated should deserve to provide you guys with the consistency of these prediction games.

Those of you who participated in the fantasy game I implemented, I will be working on the final standings for that if I am able to upload the image of the table. If not, then I will just post a link to the image sharing file I used to convert.

Let me also extend massive thanks to Drewdawg for keeping it together. As the WRC Pickem dungeon master I know just how much effort is involved (and I only had 13 rounds to deal with). I have to confess that I didn't manage to see one Indy race during the entire year but working on the 'class is permanent, form is temporary' and without any personal favourite drivers I found it much easier to make predictions for Indy than my own personal obsession, WRC (can't detach myself from what I WANT to happen!!).

So I will now be able to add 2013 IndyCar Pickem Champ to my site sig. Woo Hoo :bounce:

Please can a citizen of LOTF&HOTB take up the baton if DD can't continue - do feel it shouldn't be a Brit ;)
