Thought you guys might like this and perhaps you have already seen it.

Chap builds F1 Car out of bits in his shed (obviously original pieces too).

A keen F1 fan, Kevin first got the idea for building his own racer when he saw an F1 car in a Renault showroom. He then sought out an F1 tub, or shell, which incorporates the driver's survival cell and cockpit, on eBay. Unsurprisingly, the item received zero bids, so Kevin contacted the seller and made him an offer, which landed him bits from a Reynard BAR 01 and a BAR 003.

Impressive, I wonder which engine eventually makes it into that "Frakenstein."

The Judd V10 seems a common choice in historic F1 racing like the old EuroBOSS series.

I wonder where his wife is now?

He's probably got a load of live-in grid girls so probably doesn't need a wife. Hopefully he hasn't made those too!

Now all he has to do is find a half-decent driver (JV wouldn't look out of place in that) and he'd give HRT some competition.

I didn't know it was that common. Does that fall in line with why they used that lump in the the modified Jordan 3 seater I rode in in Austin?

All right you don't have to keep rubbing our noses in it :D ;)

I guess if you need an engine that will fit a V10-era F1 chassis, that you can get the electronics, hydraulics, spare parts etc. for, then the choices are pretty limited.
