What can we expect of services for the fans that will follow the new series via the Internet?
Live streaming, live splits, live timing, live radio?

What will Eurosport Events manage to give us?
Will ERC be able to match WRC in 2013?

What would you like to get?

All of the above but I guess it depends on payment by organisers.

Same like IRC this year but a bit improved again :)

Live results will still be provided by autosport.cz (rally-base.com) which were used both for IRC and ERC. I don't expect any splits because these are not allowed in ERC.

It's good if there won't be any splits, good for the sport. :)

The best ERC website is of course ERC - European Rally Championship 2012 (http://www.rally-erc.com) :)

GPS tracking displayed on the rally map would be nice I think.

It would be nice, but it is almost impossible. Everything is about money and ERC rounds are not so expensive to have same GPS system on each round. So actually everything depends on local possibilities of each event...

Let's not forget , that for Polish-speaking citizens a great source of ERC history is off course :: Rally Madness - True rallying is here :: (http://www.rallymadness.prv.pl) :)

eWRC-results.com had some kind of agreement with Eurosport Events.

Don't you mean rally-base;cz? Would be dissapointing if they would have changed to ewrc..

I mean eWRC but why disappointing?

Because rally-base has a great and fast service, nice layout, mobile version, why would they change..

eWRC has the mobile version too. Also has android app with results. What i dont like on ewrc is the discusion. There are mostly insults, especially on czech drivers. But you are right, that raly-base is fast. On summary there are advanteges and disadvanteges of these servers.

The difference is that rally-base as official result provider uses direct data transfer from event timekeepers while on ewrc the results are manually rewritten from other sources. If there are no technical problems rally-base is naturally faster.

ewrc never had any agreement with Eurosport Events. Same as with ISC/North One Sport with WRC.

but the big news was that they have now. Im not sure what kind of agreement they made, but i heard that from quite solid source.

Maybe not for live results, but for the archive.

For a Championship such as the ERC, everything should be standardised. And I mean everything. If Eurosport want to do this properly, then this is the way to go. Yes, it will be expensive, but they surely knew this when taking the Promoter role on.

Nice, it's looking good.
But watch out for the "TV Coverage" schedule page at the bottom... it doesn't say the geographic time zone used, and to some of us (at least Portugal) it seems to be offset (by +1 hour) from the official Eurosport TV schedule... double check with your national Eurosport website.
