"Have you ever been to a NASCAR race? Ever seen one on TV? This shirt goes out to everyone who has unwillingly watched cars go around in a circle for over two hours straight."

Not sure about that...when I have insomnia, golf is first on my list to watch to put me to sleep.

To each his own.

*

Watching a grand prix car going full out through Eau Rouge gives me "wood" (and I mean oak, not pine :D ).

*

Watching stock cars (or trucks) on a short track,* hearing a top fuel dragster seating the clutch, hearing a Champ Car accelerating through the gears (when they still had pop-offs), watching a MotoGP rider drag his knee through a corner, watching a motocross racer hang his rear wheel out during a jump, watching two prototypes side by side going down the Mulsanne... none of this is boring to me.

*

Whatever the sport or activity, watching highly skilled people do what they do best is rather fascinating, IMO.

NASCAR boring? Can be. Just like any race can be boring. I enjoyed Martinsville today, thought it was interesting, but I am more a fan of the short tracks than the majority of the NASCAR sched. That said, I have had naps during some long green flag runs at Kansas and Chicagoland, so I guess I can be guilty of being "bored". I just put it down to the fact Sunday is my time to unstress and often a siesta is part of the program...
