When I was younger so much younger than today...

my fighting weight in my early 20's was 76kg :bandit:

Then I went to the UK and started eating fish&chips and pies -> 82kg
and rowing -> 86kg

... started work, settled down, no sport apart from a bit of squash or cycling -> 92kg

~15 years later and it's been creeping up to an all time high of 102kg last May

Target for this year 95 looks good.

Next year's target is 90. Slowly but surely and sustainably...

But even at 90 I'll still be a fat git with a BMI>26  :arrows:

Any other fat donkeys out there? :D

Donks. Is this one of the 12 steps?

. . . but seriously, I myself deal with the opposite trend. People see me and wonder why my pants are falling off - so you see, we all have our weight issues so shut up and go sweat it off! :s mash:

:D

My project get in beach shape for summer 2006 is still very much a work in progress. At the moment i'm considering a small change in definition of "beach shape" from sixpacked human to walrus and calling it a success. :D

Doughnuts are overrated anyway. I'd much rather indulge on proper food :bandit:

Too messy. I had a lemon meringue pie yesterday. So much sugar I felt quite ill!

The important thing is to be HAPPY in your own body, some people can keep slim as they have a good metabolism ,others struggle with their weight, and skipping meals, eating junk food when hungry or working away from home, where a proper balanced food is not available. The big problem is the people who are overweight who you see in the street, who are ALWAYS eating when they walk the street. At the end of the day your limbs have to carry your body about, and the less you weigh the easier it is for your limbs!

I'm have a great metabolism. If I hadn't, I reckon I'd easily be double the size :p

I do more exercise and eat less and I just stay at thje same weight. So I clearly am just at my weight, which is slightly heavier than I would like, but hey as long as it doesn't go up I am content.

I used to be athletic.
Now I am a bit overweight.
I recently was forced to sit in the absolute rear of a 20-man helicopter due to my 109kg mass.
Time is coming when I shall start dieting & exercise again.
Hopefully....

There was that great summer 2 years ago when I wasn't fat.. other than that I was fat all my life... with some shameful periods of obesity... 4 and half years ago big ben was at his biggest. I had close to 120 kg. Now I'm at around 97 kg (to an height of 190 cm) so big is not just for tall, it's also for fat.

In this part of the world men's pants are falling off for other reason.

Take care. For a proper donkey wouldn't you be too thin?

In this neighborhood of mine you will find the owners of pants that purposely display their long underwear.

In my case, I just have to find a tighter belt . . . .

I do believe all the ideas you have introduced for your post. They're really convincing and will definitely work. Still, the posts are too quick for newbies. May just you please lengthen them a little from subsequent time? Thanks for the post. You could certainly see your skills within the paintings you write. Now that we know from where "Big" comes let's elucidate the "Ben" part. Don't say your real name is Benone.
