Nice recovcery by Dixon following his earlier spin. He might have to make an additional pit stop, though. Whatever happened to Marco?

Looks like Seebass got dirt on his tires. Think I jinxed him there....

Marco's engine died after his wing broke blah blah blah. He didn't have a good race.

Gutted for Ryan.

I thought the DW12 could make any track interesting. I shall amend this to "almost any track."

Ryan Briscoe ,great job. These cars need some increase in hp. They look like lights on the track.

I have to agree, but I've never liked watching much of anything race there. I even found AMA superbikes in person a bore. The decision to use hte narrow version of turn 7 at least provided a lot of action. I hate the "parking lot" hairpin, the lack of a real front straight, the lack of anything even remotely green. It's great fun to drive, but just not a good race course IMHO. Laguna Seca isn't much better race-wise for the big cars, but at least it's great place to watch cars drive around on.

A bit of a procession that livened up due to the massive Bourdais/Newgarden incident. Seems that both chassis' will have to be written off after that one. Also, Newgarden has a broken index finger, so it remains to be seen if he's fit for Baltimore. It was also good to see consistent penalties handed out by Beaux Barfield, although I do have one gripe. Why the hell did the safety team try & push-start RHR??? It didn't work & then 100m later they have to get the truck to re-fire him using the starter and he loses a lap. Why didn't they do that in the first place? Also, the time it took to get Briscoe back to victory lane after his awful doughnut attempts was laughable, even prompting Marino Franchitti (acting as a pundit for Sky Sports in the UK) to brand the safety team at Turn 7 as "useless". On yesterday's evidence at Turn 7, I agree.

I am not an expert judge in the matter of racing incidents, but I thought Tagliani owed an apology to Hunter-Reay. From TV footage, he didn't seem to think so during a confrontation with Hunter-Reay after the race.

And.. Briscoe should really practice his donuts.. That was kind of embarrassing.
