Glad to see Ron Fellows still active. I was thinking about him while watching the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Will also be interesting to see how Piquet, Jr. does.

Partly cloudy, mid 70s...perfect RA weather. Should be a HUGE crowd, maybe 75000.

Just checked the results from first practice.

Villeneuve
Piquet, Jr.
Papis

Three former formula one drivers, including a former champion. Amazing what a Nationwide race can attract.

Congrats to Nelson Piquet Jr for the win.

I will be positive like Danica and just say thanks to Jacques Villeneuve for taking her out of a top 5 finish.

Danica ran strong today and should have had a top 5 finish. She actually made a green flag pass for the lead, but ran wide a couple of corners later and because the laps at Road America are so long she didn't get credit for a lap led. Congratulations to Piquet, he had a fabulous day.

Happened to watch ESPN2 sports clips Sat night several times, the impression given was that DP led for a significant time, not for part of a lap. Also they showed no interest whatever in the podium drivers, Piquet, McDowell and Fellows, but featured a lengtly clip of DP. I don't normally have access to the channel , but if this is their idea of fair coverage, I am not missing anything.
