No one will miss *that* going round! Hope it doesn't distract the other drivers, or is that the plan Rob ;)

Ye, but it can't be yela, cos yela is for when we need a yela, so this here yela is going to have to be a canary. :) and does that make Rob a budgie ? ;)

Looking good! you should have no problems seeing it from the grandstands. we dont want to cause any yela's!

Yela stands out a mile. i remember Shaun Richardson's A1 Motorsavers car at the end of 2005. plus they emergency services use that shade because it stands out. thats possibly why New York cabs are yellow too....

can't wait to see the finished article. you should have laid some paper down though, it's be ages before the paint comes off that floor!

I must take a pic of it in the sunshine with my big camera. It'll look brighter than the one I took with my jellybone.

Now to fit the Jellybaby catching net.....

In the early years did'nt we have a yellow car sponsored by Jellybabies...or is my memory failing me?

Yes, there was a Jelly Baby sponsored car, but I ate it.

Will it be there next weekend - I certainly hope so. It's going for prep on Monday, and providing everything works, it'll be there.

Still no livery - I hope to have that sorted in the week after training.

Despite the total lack of help from Rob, http://www.thesmilies.com/smilies/tongue0021.gif (http://www.thesmilies.com) I've dug deep into the annals of Google and come up with this...

The car was originally bought by Rick Tanton who tested it at Croft in 2000 (see http://www.scsaracers.co.uk/gallery/testing2000?page=1 ). In 2001 it was run by T J Motorsport and it was driven by Mike Jordan in the demo race in 2001 and by Neil Cunningham in rds 1 & 2 of the series. The livery was changed to Jelly Babies for rd 3 (the Champ Car race) and driven by Neil and for the final 2 rounds by Anthony Swan. Just for info it was tested by both Barry Lee and Jim Edwars Junior ( see http://www.scsaracers.co.uk/gallery/testing2001 ) before the demo race in Barry was going to race it but there was a problem and Mike took the wheel.
