Yes with 3 races from 7 Alejandro Galanti si at the top of the score board.

We are far from WRC but working on it, not the same budget jajjaa..

In Paraguay we still have inside our National championship a very long endurance rally, that resembles the Safari Rally some 20 years ago. It is raced during 3 days in a very far region called the Chaco Paraguayo. This race has aproximately 400 km of special stages pero day with a total of nearly 2500 km. Some pics of last years event.

I am currently a member of the board at the national drivers club called "Centro Paraguayo de Volantes" CPV (http://www.cpv.com.py)

During races I am normally the Director of the meeting (rally), coordinator and sometimes I act as steward of the meeting.

In a couple of days we will start a new Edition of the Transchaco Rally 41st, probably the oldest of its type in the world and the only one still inside a National Championship. With the Safari rally it involves a team effort of car, drivers, mechanics and team + team spirit.

Yestesteday we had the clasifying super stage for the 41st. Transchaco Rally, a race that will take place in the Chaco Paraguayo, over a total of aprox. 3000 kilometers and 1.200 km of Special Stages. I will post some information regarding one of the oldest rally events in this part of the Continent.

Does Zaldivar used the S2000 this week end ? Or C2S means something else ?

yes its miky z car. But under our current regulations he may use the body and shell of the S-2000 but with a Ford 2.4 liter engine just as the Maxi Rally Cars do.

Micky had several problems with the fuel tank, I am not sure exactly what was the problem but I understand that he had to change the fuel tank 3 times.

Diego Dominguez with Co Pilot Edgardo Galindo (argentine) is the winner of the 39th edition of the Tranchacho Rally probably one of the last rally (raid) races in the world. Its the first time a Maxi Rally car wins this race and also with the Kia brand.

Apparently Gustavo Saba bought a Skoda Fabia S2000 ex-Mikkelsen.

Does anyone knows if he'll only contest Paraguayan Championship with the car or also Codasur Championship?
