Out of respect for his wife's condition, I will refrain from offering my long held opinion on Jenkins as a broadcaster - it is not positive and might seem out of place, given the circumstances of his departure.

I wish him the best going forward, and may his wife fully recover.

Bob Jenkins is all class, and one of the best ever, right up there with Ken Squier, Mike Joy and he is the best Indycar voice ever (Paul Page was never one I liked AT all...). I wish him well and his wife all the best and a silent prayer.
