I'm interested in the interwar period (that is between 1918 and 1940). Does anybody know of good books covering motorsport between that period?? I prefer it to be about Europe.
I have read "Ferdinand Porsche: Genesis of Genius" by Karl Ludvigsen, which I enjoyed very much. I have also just finished "Hitlers Rennschlachten: Die Silberpfeile unterm Hakenkreuz" by Eberhard Reuss which I found rather polemic and repetitive.
Anybody has any other tips? I can read in English, German and French.

Are you looking for contemporary books or accounts written post-WW2?

How big's your budget - large or small?

I'm looking for easy to find books that are interesting to read. I paid about 70 euros for the Porsche book, which is probably the most I would spent. But it all depends on subject, size, and so on and so on.
