Is anyone watching it? :) The first race was fun, although I hoped that Yvan would manage to win it. I hope for a more exciting second race :)

The second race was incredible! Tires situation really spices up racing and I am very happy that after so many years Stefano won!

I didn't expect the circuit would be so hard on tyres. I wonder how much the Chevys were pushing in the final few laps because it seemed like Muller and Huff had backed off considerably. Anyway, a great day for D'Aste and also for Huff whose championship campaign has taken a massive turn around! Looking forward to the next round where hopefully Boardman can rack up a few more points with his new engine.

The Chevys backed off, but still pushed on the big strait... maybe that finished their tires.

Yeah, they appeared to push from about turn 8 on the final lap. It's mad how just one short sprint can finish their tyres, even with a steady 3-4 laps of holding the pace.

I ended up watching it by chance as i was watching the F1 channel which was showing previous races around Monaco and i turned over for the adverts and i'm so glad i did. Ended up watching more action than there ever has been in an f1 race. Very pleased for rob, hope he goes on to win the title!

Maybe it is because it was a new track for the teams and they didn't know what to expect. And I agree with Jason - lots and lots of action, at least in race 2 :) More than in the whole DTM season so far, for example. About the championship I am still rooting for Muller, but new and surprising winners are the best - like Norbi in Hungary and Stefano yesterday :)

It'll be hard to stop Muller in terms of the championship. But the Yokohama Trophy battle will be fascinating.

Huff is now very close, if he can stay close till Macau, he will be champion.
