Loved the part where the guy puts his hand into the side of the rocket and starts to feel around inside rocket. Still looking for an Easter egg? :o :

Well I hope we don't help them economically. Then they would build a car and a television and we would be dumb enough to buy those products.

Suppy and demand my friend.
The U.S. is the world's number one consumer of goods, and the average Joe Blow doesn't really care where they come from.
Having said that, many Asian vehicles are manufactured in the U.S. :mark: .

Yea but the big check still goes back to the originating country. Something most Americans are to stupid to realize. We are in the 'Sh!tter" and all we can see is the next wave of assholes.

That may be but many manufacturing jobs are kept in Detroit.
Having said that, the vehicles would cost much less if manufactured overseas :mark: .

But yes, I agree, the U.S. consumer is Asia's b!tch :p :

Bussi kääntyi väärästä kulmasta - Pohjois-Korean salattu todellisuus paljastui - Ilta-Sanomat (http://www.iltasanomat.fi/ulkomaat/bussi-kaantyi-vaarasta-kulmasta---pohjois-korean-salattu-todellisuus-paljastui/art-1288461849348.html)

A bus was taking reporters who were invited to Kim-Il Sung's 100 years celebration, took a wrong turn and took them to REAL Pjongjang instead of the propaganda route planned in advance :D Whoopsie F**king Daizie. Sad for the driver thou... I don't think he exists anymore.

You're kidding, right. As if anything made in North Korea would work, judging by their latest effort. Not to mention that South Korea has the car and electronic markets well and truly sewn up.

Let's see what Kim Jong - DOH! comes up with next to starve his millions of citizens.

Yes, because of the global free market economy in which I presume you believe.

The only surprise I can see is that anyone is surprised. The rocket may have been deliberately designed to fail but the mere fact that they rattled the sabre and given the world the impression that they had/have the capability of doing anything was worth the PR stunt.
You could fill up a nuclear weapon with Hoisin Crispy Owl, Bonbonbonbons and Twenty Cheese Omelette and no-one would be any the wiser because everyone including North Korea knows that you'd be a fool to try it out.

The only people who I suspect would actually use nuclear weapons are terrorists, and they sure as heck aren't going to broadcast to the world that they have them. The first warning is likely to be a giant kaboom somewhere.

.

They already tried that in 2006 and 2009, both of which flopped just as spectacularly as this one. How many times does the North Koreans have to prove that they are good at failing tests?

Since we have a South Korean here, I'd like to ask: Is it true that South Koreans are on average about 3 inches taller than North Koreans, or is this just a myth? Supposedly, it's because of better nutrition.

Hard to say because there's any official statics about north korean's average height (South korean's average height is 68 inches)
but depending on what i saw before at the tong-il tower (This buliding is 11km away from North korea)
The myth is seemed to be true ..
I saw the middle-age north korea farmer through the telescope, he looked like really short person (I think about 62 inches)

Thanks! I heard it first from a lecture by Christopher Hitchens who has been to North Korea. According to him, the difference is most notable in soldiers on the edge of the neutral zone, with South Korean soldiers always significantly taller.

There's at least one tall North Korean:

Ri Myung Hun - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ri_Myung_Hun)

Ri Myung Hun (born September 14, 1967) was a center with the national basketball team of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. He was also known as Michael Ri, after his favorite basketball player, Michael Jordan.[1] Once declared the tallest living human being in the world,[2] he stands 2.35m (7' 8.5") tall and planned to play in the NBA in the 1990s.[1] According to the Associated Press, he was "the world's tallest basketball player."[3]

And it is nobodies fault but ourselves. We priced ourselves out of the market with Taxes, Over-regulation and political expediency in caving to the Unions.

You believe in the free market. You should not be speaking of anybody being at 'fault'.

I believe in the free market.

Unfortunately in the US most of the major industries do not operate in a "Free Market" Particularly the dying ones like manufacturing.
