The Friday evening stages have been cancelled and the National and Production events have been combined. The running order for the early stages on Saturday will be Historic, International, National, Challenge but the National and Challenge move ahead of the Internationals for later stages. There is a passage control after stages 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11. First times for the Historics will be available from about 8:45 on Saturday morning.

Comments and suggestions for improvements welcome. In response to a number of requests since Rallye Sunseeker David James has added an option to allow display of Car and/or co-driver on the combined stage Times/Overall display .

How do you come to that conclusion? Stages 6,7,8 were only ever going to be attempted by the Internationals. The International is running a bit late so times are expected about 15:00 for stages 6 and 7.

We are hearing reports that car 74 is on fire on the main road back to Dolgellau service and the Fire Brigade have closed the road whilst they deal with the incident. I anticipate that this will delay things further for the International.

Car 1 is not currently in the results after SS7 because the passage control did not collect his time card for SS7. This will be collected after SS8.

The final three stages for the International have been cancelled and the cars will proceed back to Welshpool for the finish. The Stewards will reconsider the notional times issued on SS5.

Is it the real time of Osian Pryce on SS8

No it is a timekeeping problem so we will need to wait until we can examine data from the clock; after discussion with the competitor a minute has been added but this may be subject to revision.

Reason for cancellation?

Martin Liddle
24th March 2012, 18:44
Cronin has now reached Dolgellau and handed in a stage 8 time card.

Martin Liddle
24th March 2012, 18:46
Reason for cancellation?

Stewards Decision No 1.

On the grounds of safety and given that it would be impossible to run stages 9, 10 and 11 in daylight for all competitors, the Stewards have decided to cancel these stages.
