Biffle continues his hot streak. He's certainly running good to start the year.

I got to stop reading articles before the race weekend. Read waltrip and elliott sadler were going to race today in sprint. So with Kaseys mistake i'm out 4 cars before 50 laps are even run. What a bite. and where the heck is Markie at.

they are sick of the track,

ever since the repavement, Bristol pretty much blows now, just a small version of California or Kansas now

I'd be surprised if Bruton doesn't tear it up and start over, I don't recall a race at Bristol so poorly attended.

Considering that Bruton is charging over $100 for mid-level seats, I think people are more concerned about cost of attendence.

Also, a wide racing groove at Bristol is way better than a low speed demolition derby. That was a good race today.

thats Martinsville, Bristol was something else, unlike any other oval, the race today was absolutely pathetic. Sebring's GT field was more exciting for the whole 12 hours than what Nascar called this, the old pavement should've never been touched, it was worn in and bumpy, a good handling car was still very key and aero was pretty much taken out of the playbook. the aggressors for once had the advantage for once over the patient drivers but now that was pretty much taken away.

enjoy your Kansas styled Bristol, yeah there was passing, from 11th on back, the only time there was a top ten pass was when a slower car was set for a pick.

Bristol has always sold out. I agree the race was good, but many of the fans don't like the new style at Bristol.

Looks like The Deuce is back to own Bristol!

Yeah, the racing was good but the spectacle of it was no different to Michigan or cookie cutters. What made Bristol was the aggressive passing tactics, losing patience by forcing the issue with beating and banging and the good ol' bump & run.

Low attendence is more likely the result of a weak economy. Bristol charges more per ticket than most other tracks but also has the third highest seating capacity.

Bump & run isn't racing, it's just sloppy driving.
