What happened to Chris Dyer?

I know he was fired at the end of 2010 after Ferrari bungled the title. Dyer was then under contract until the end of 2011. So, is he at another team this year or taking a hiatus? Also, I think it was a silly decision by Ferrari to get rid of Dyer. Just felt a little bitter about the whole ordeal. :mad:

from what i can find has left Ferrari but isn’t legally free to work in F1 until mid-2012

That's true, however Dyer has got 'family' waiting for him at Mercedes.
