Today I received my first spam on a PM. Is it common lately or it's an isolated occurrence?

I've only ever had one, once, about three years ago.

It does happen occasionally but due to the pre-registration requirement on the forums, it's very rare. In fact in all the time the forum has been running I can remember less than half a dozen cases.

I can only apologise about this incident, I hope the spammer gets what he/she deserves in life!

Indeed! :D And no apologies needed, I just asked in case it was something massive.

What is the pre-registration requirement these days?

That you have to register before you can post on the forums or use PM's.

OK. I've seen some boards that require time and/or post counts to manage thread and PM spam. I hope it never gets to that here.
