i think top 5 is a good prediction...especially with the monster stage still ahead tommorow...that is of course if he manages to stay out of trouble himself.

Possibly, but over 60km he could over 2 minutes out of the Skodas at least, and I find it hard to believe none of the top 6 will have any issues. Neuville will be the hardest to pass because he's keeping up a good pace.

Mikkelsen has made his point and proved his speed and ability.
No point throwing that away. They get to play again in a few weeks in Acropolis.
In a way that's what makes these long events a bit crap. Here we are on Saturday, with still a long Sunday to go, and unless mechanical incidents occur, the length of the event isn't really going to add too much. It's just longer for everyone to have to wait for the result in a world were people's attention spans are time to watch/ follow is less and less.

I havent followed the WRC very carefully last years, but are the new WRCs (1,6l) slower or have the S2000s become faster?
I saw some results last year as well, the S2000 where sometimes much closer than they where in the 2010 season or earlier.
But I still see some of the N4s beeing competetive against the S2000 as they where before, without any major upgradings to this dying class?

Hello Eze,
You are absolutely right, this "modern rallying" is far away from it once was. Having driven four day rallies, day and night with minimum sleep, in the car, SS more than 100 kms, minimum service possibilties and no choppers I can say "those were the days". In many cases you got the results day after the finish! OK, times change but let us "older than 12" have our opinions, which are not accepted by nowadays standards. Anyway, in the beginning it was also endurance.

nice try löeb fan. i said who ever wins incl. löeb. team orders banned for a reason, you know. but fia commisioners don't have the guts for it. they should not make manufacturers feel sorry for their orders to stoping drivers to push or taking penalties to let 1st team driver to pass. there is no logic in pushing to the end and racing for a deserved victory eh? manufacturers are domminant on fia. and it sucks badly.
sordo will not come back to ford ever after this bull****. alternator belt broke down in normal stage before last stage, ah yea.. it looks to be a late desicion to retire him to me. manufacturers title is totaly imposible because citroen has the most consistent drivers of today..
the core of rally? what has changed since early 90's? rally became circuit racing or i am in paralel universe? no, the missing thing is the action. the racing is missing, there is only "team desicions". drivers bound hand and foot coz there is not enough teams and manufacturers, why? they left the sport.. why? economics: less sponsor money to run teams.. why? not enough tv coverage.. why? not enough spectators... why? because it is getting boring and boring... i love rally since 91, and i saw it on TV and until 2003, i had never seen a rally car. today, i can only watch rally on youtube, none of national TVs ever show even 10 minutes of rally.
