While they are still messing about looking for Higgs Bosum and the origins of the Universe, they decided to destroy a cornerstone of modern physics by chucking a few Neutrinos through a few hundred miles of rock at speeds in excess of the speed of light, thereby opening up the discussion on whether Time Travel is a possibility.

BBC News - Neutrino experiment repeat at Cern finds same result (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-15791236)

It seems the more we know, the more we don't know.

Exciting times.

We don’t allow faster than light neutrinos in here, says the bartender.

They're already planning to to more experiments to back it up.
The first ones are due to start last September.

This was the 2nd experiment to back up the findings of the first one earlier this month. However, I imagine there are going to be a lot more

After all, 0.00000006 of a second is quite small. It's nearly the time it takes for a Taxi in London to hoot you when the lights change :D

Allow me to rephrase...
The back up experiments are now scheduled for last month.

Get it now ? :p

There are a whole range of neutrino time travel jokes doing the rounds... here's another one I posted next week:
