Oh excellent news - I have missed Alan & Matt chatting about BTCC.

TIN TOP TUESDAY RETURNS

BTCC-themed radio show Tin Top Tuesday is slated to return at 20.00 on Tuesday (3 April). TTT,

will be available via TV channel Globecast 0157 and website www.0157.org (http://www.0157.org), will be hosted by
BTCC race day commentator Alan Hyde and Motorsport News magazine’s Matt James. “This year,
we’ll be 100 per cent BTCC with a show after each meeting plus a season review,” said James.

fantastic, excellent news,

i would have thought the 100% btcc bit means no support race stuff, maybe its just 1hr instead of 2 this year,

wonder if they'll have some ttt vinyls on mat jacksons bm?

From the horse's mouth (not that you're a horse, Alan, you're lovely!) :p :

Hello everyone!

For followers of The Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship: only a few days to go! Woooohoooo!!!!

And for those of you who have asked about whether our BTCC Radio Prog will be back - Tin Top Tuesday - the answer is yes!

We're not doing a show every week....life is a tad busy for that this year.....but we are doing a show after each BTCC round....

So spread the word, and hopefully we can exceed the exceptional listernership we have built up over the last two years.

I can't tell you how the show will be formatted, but I think it's farirly safe to say it will be pretty much the tried and trusted formula of two blokes having a chat with star drivers, trying not to forget we're on air, so certain subjects and certain words are to be avoided...

http://www.tintoptuesday.com will carry details closer to Tuesday number 1 after Brands Hatch in a week and a bit, and you can listen on Globecast Radio Sky Channel 0157 and at http://www.0157.org as before!

I hope lots of you will be able to join us!!!

All the best

Al

But, but, but .....

"And this year..........no podcasts. You need to be there live or you'll miss the gig: 20.00 - 22.00 every Tuesday after a BTCC weekend."

Dammit, Janet, it used to make the journey to work so much easier.

Pleeease can it be made into a podcast? Please?

According to DigiGuide TTT3 will be repeated at 1am-3am on Wed and then 9am-11am on Wed also.

However, DigiGuide also says that TTT is on tonight (March 27th)...

[Edit: DigiGuide says it's on from 7pm to 9pm... I don't think I believe it...]

If you're not around when it's broadcast, and you have Sky+, you can set a manual recording.

If you've got "normal" Sky why not set your VCR/DVD-R to record and leave your box on 0157?

See, you never have to miss an episode! :D

Digiguide doesn't seem to have made the switch to British Summer Time - all the programmes on there are an hour out.

However, on the plus side I'm told that Matt James is one of the guests on Midweek Motorsport tomorrow at 8pm.

It looks to be just Globecast's times - BBC1 etc are OK (DigiGuide used to have the same problem with Virgin Radio...) so I've reported this to DigiGuide as a fault and they usually sort it in a day or two...

We are reviewing our podcast policy for those of you who would prefer to listen after the show is broadcast.....and it may be that the show will be made available for download when the next show is due.....if you see what I mean! So hopefully that will be good news for some of you!

Hope to see you all there tonight!
