After all of the whinging throughout the season, do you fans of BTCC realise that before the Brands Hatch round Mr Plato had won 25% of the races. Now after 27 races he has won 29.6% of the races. Turbo shmurbo

Do you have opinions on any other subject matter?

He is only 5 points behind, he's got the same chance as everyone else, who knows what the weather may bring, rain, snow, high winds, the wrong kind of leaves on the track, gearboxes jamming in reverse, there'll be something to moan about I'm sure, just depends on who does the most/loudest moaning.

Yes but the state of the country, rising unemployment and cost of living, what I had for tea last night etc are not really subjects for a BTCC forum.

Does an opinion offend you that much? If so what makes you think your opinion should be heard but not mine? Should my opinion change to suit you? Read it or dont read it.. your choice.

The numbers:

Race Wins
8 Jason Plato
6 Matt Neal
5 Gordon Shedden
4 Mat Jackson
1 James Nash, Andrew Jordan, Tom Chilton, Tom Boardman

Pole Positions
4 Plato
2 Shedden & Neal
1 Chilton

Fastest Laps
6 Neal
5 Plato & Jackson
2 Shedden & Frank Wrathall
1 Nash, Boardman, Chilton, Alex MacDowall, Dave Newsham, Robert Collard, Rob Austin

Non-scores (title protagonists)
7 Plato & Jackson
5 Neal
4 Shedden
3 Nash

If Plato hadn't have had 7 non finishes he would be walking it by now. Clearly the fastest car out there.

I don't think 'fastest' is the correct term - best all round car for sure given the different nature of circuits. But out and out fastest? Not at the start of the season.

It's the end of the season that will be most important ;)

Oh. I always thought that they added up the scores for the whole season. :\

Plato is the best driver hence why he is in the running. The rules are a joke and I stopped watching from Donington crash-fest onwards. Until they sort the series out and reinstate some credibility I won't be going out of my way to watch again and certainly won't be paying to watch it at Oulton like I have in the past.
