Sometimes it seems manufacturers were having too many salvia bong hits when designing their new products.
Such as the Impreza S201:

Are there any worse factory 'specials'?

I can remember how upset I was when I first saw the new Impreza back in 2001. 'Richard Burns seriously isn't going to drive that!' I thought to myself.

The winner of any ugly contest has to be the Ssangyong Rodius.

I'd have one of these in a shot !!

Bugeyes make a lot of sense, a hell of a lot of car dirt cheap because they are so ugly.

Hey!!!! I own a bugeye buddy :p :

I had a 2000 and own a 2005; the bugeye never did anything for me. But then I'd still have the 2000 if it had not gotten rammed at an intersection.
Loved that car:

Some good choices there gents, the Scooby designers really had a mentalalist moment when they though round lights on a square car looked good - I mean, did no one say in meetings..."hang on lads, doesn't this look a bit ****?"

As for current mingers - the Nissan Juke wins hands down for me. Fugly, fugly, fugly.

Pontiac Aztek, hands down. I have to put the picture behind a link because it's just too disgusting.

The old man turned up with a 1997 Impreza one day. It got traded last week for a near similar age SLK 230. Not a sad day, I'll be honest...

That was a great car

Trying to get a Cosworth 400 WRX STI from the UK, but the local Scooby agents won't offer support for it and won't bring it in so I'm a bit sceptical. I know its supposed to be for the UK market only, but there are other people that want this car in other parts of the world! Heard it has a hell of a lot of Turbo lag though :s hock:

The modern equivalent of the Aztek. Just what were they thinking / smoking?

I have a 2003 WRX and it is hardly the worst "smile" on a car. The bugeye Sprite always looked like a frog, but we all loved it anyway. Actually, it think my Mazdaspeed3 is less attractive the the Scooby, but only on the outside ;)

That's the one for me too. I remember that was one of the "prizes" given to the winner of the first Survivor, an American TV show. My wife and I about died laughing. Imagine that, "For winning Survivor, here's a million dollars and a really hideous car".

Some 90's bricks were awesome, I don't mind Scion, I believe if it were product of Mercedez it's outstanding. In near future they will unveil http://cdn2.worldcarfans.co/2011/9/26/medium/830847605850218263.jpg

The winner I think that Multipla, grasshopper ;)

Has to be the Multipla for me, the idea was OK but the result was bloody awful. Having said that the new Aston Martin Cygnet city car thingy is pretty poor and of course a special mention must go to anything Smart have ever produced too.
